Conservatives picked up at least 65 seats in the House and 5 in the Senate, sending a resounding "up yours" to Democrats and the policies of the Obama administration. We also picked up a bunch of governors races as well. The 5 seats in the Senate weren't enough to give a majority, but they were enough to keep the Democrats from having a solid majority as well. The best news of the night, in taking the House back, we fired Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House!!! That job will now go to John Boehner.
I do wish that Christine O'Donnell, Sharron Angle, Carly Fiorrina had won their races in West Virginia, Nevada, and California respectively, but they made good showings and gave the incumbents a run for their money. A victory for Conservatives is a victory for America. America won last night!!
