Psalm of Obama - From the book of Democrat

OBAMA IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT WANT.

HE LEADETH ME BESIDE STILL FACTORIES.

HE RESTORETH MY FAITH IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

HE GUIDETH ME IN THE PATH OF UNEMPLOYMENT.

YEA, THOUGH I WALK THRU THE VALLEY

OF THE BREAD LINE I SHALL NOT GO HUNGRY.

OBAMA HAS ANOINTED MY INCOME WITH TAXES,

MY EXPENSES RUNNETH OVER MY INCOME,

SURELY, POVERTY AND HARD LIVING WILL FOL LOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF HIS TERM.

FROM HENCE FORTH WE WILL LIVE ALL THE DAYS

OF OUR LIVES IN A RENTED HOME WITH AN OVERSEAS LANDLORD.

BUT I AM GLAD I AM AN AMERICAN, I AM GLAD THAT I AM FREE. BUT I WISH I WAS A DOG AND OBAMA A TREE.

This came in my email today. Thought it was worth sharing.

WHY ARE WE BANKRUPT?

Informative, and mind boggling! You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much?

Boy, was I confused. I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the Iraq
war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us. I find that to be RIDICULOUS.

I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. I also have included the URL's for verification of all the following FACTS.

1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments.
Verify at: http://tinyurl.com/zob77

2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens. While at the same time deserving, hard working American citizens are denied the same benefits.

3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens. While at the same time deserving American citizens are being denied for the same benefits.

4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English! Fluency in English should be a requirement BEFORE a child is allowed to be enrolled in school/

5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.

8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare & social services by the
American taxpayers.

9. $200 Billion dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.
Verify at: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.
Verify at: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0606/12/ldt.01.html

11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border.
Verify at: Homeland Security Report: http://tinyurl.com/t9sht

12. The National Policy Institute, estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period. A price worth paying for doing the right thing.
Verify at: http://www.nationalpolicyinstitute.org/pdf/deportation.pdf

13. In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances to their countries of origin.

The total cost is a whopping $ 338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR.

Are we THAT stupid? Apparently we are.

If this doesn't bother you then just delete the message. If, on the other hand, it does raise the hair on the back of your neck, I hope you forward it to every legal resident in the country including every elected representative in Washington , D.C. - five times a week for as long as it takes to restore some semblance
of intelligence in our policies and enforcement thereof.

The solution is so simple, and it may happen because the new Homeland Security person is the ex-Governor of Arizona and she has mentioned doing this.

Forget about the Illegal, go after the employer. Fine for 1st offense of hiring Illegal: $10,000. 2nd offense: $100,000. 3rd offense: $1,000,000.

You could pull all the people off the borders and justcheck worksites. After the employer has to pay $100K
just one time he'll stop hiring them. NO JOBS--NO COME.

Just thought I would pass this along (emailed to me by a co-worker)

Dear Friends,

I'm writing to let you know about a terrible piece of legislation called "The Freedom of Choice Act" (FOCA).

FOCA would establish the right to abortion as a fundamental right (like the right to free speech) and wipe away every restriction on abortion nationwide.

It will eradicate state and federal abortion laws that the majority of Americans support and prevent states from enacting similar protective measures in the future.

Please read the expert analysis by Americans United for Life (AUL) and sign the Fight FOCA petition at:

Thank you!

Court: Christian school can expel lesbian students

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A California appeals court has ruled that a Christian high school can expel students because of an alleged lesbian relationship.

The 4th District Court of Appeal in Riverside on Monday upheld California Lutheran High School's right as a private, religious organization to exclude students based on sexual orientation.

Two girls sued claiming they were discriminated against after they were expelled from the Wildomar school in 2005. A lower court said the school isn't bound by the same anti-discrimination laws as a business establishment.

John McKay, attorney for California Lutheran, says the school's goal is to educate based on Christian principles.

The attorney for the girls could not be immediately reached Tuesday.

Great video!! Enjoy!!

This came in our email today. I thought it was worth sharing.

Texas Coach Speaks Out.

Jim Neugent is a coach in Childress ,
Texas ...

Jim writes:

My name is Jim Neugent. I wrote to ABC (on-line) concerning a program called 'THE PRACTICE.' In last nights episode, one of the lawyer's mothers decided she is gay and wanted her son to go to court and help her get a marriage license so she could marry her 'partner.' I sent the following letter to ABC yesterday and really did not expect a reply, but I did get one.

My original message was:

ABC is obsessed with the subject of homosexuality. I will no longer watch any of your attempts to convince the world that homosexuality is OK. 'THE PRACTICE' can be a fairly good show, but last night's program was so typical of your agenda. You picked the 'dufus' of the office to be the one who was against the idea of his mother being gay, and made him look like a whiner because he had convictions. This type of mentality calls people like me a 'gay basher.' Read the first chapter of Romans (that's in the Bible) and see what the apostle Paul had to say about it...He, God and Jesus were all 'gay bashers!'. What if she'd fallen in love with her cocker spaniel? Is that an alternative life style? (By the way, the Bible speaks against that, too.)
--Jim Neugent

Here is ABC's reply from the ABC on-line webmaster:

How about getting your nose out of the Bible (which is ONLY a book of stories compiled by MANY different writers hundreds of years ago) and read the declaration of independence (what our nation is built on), where it says 'All Men are Created equal,' and try treating them that way for a change! Or better yet, try thinking for yourself and stop using an archaic book of stories as your lame crutch for your existence. You are in the minority in this country, and your boycott will not affect us at ABC or our freedom of statement.

Jim Neugent's second response to ABC:

Thanks for your reply. From your harsh reply, evidently I hit a nerve. I will share it with all with whom I come in contact. Hopefully, the Arkansas Democrat Newspaper will include it in one of their columns and I will be praying for you.
--- Jim Neugent ---------------------

Note: Wouldn't Satan just love it if people stopped using the Bible for a crutch? Please re-send this to everyone in your mailbox.

I wonder if the person from ABC considered how many people would read this e-mail!
This is one we should definitely pass on.

It's not just ABC, it's the entire Hollywood culture. Those of us with heartfelt convictions are portrayed as dolts and idiots who need to be enlightened. What this person from ABC conveniently failed to mention in his or her reply was that the very same Constitution guarantees all of us dolts with convictions the same free speech that it gives him/her and it also guarantees us the freedom to hold and express our beliefs and convictions. So, take that ABC. Maybe this person from ABC should pickup and read this "archaic book of stories" for him or herself. They might come away with a changed life!! If you agree, pass this on!

The Democrats: Hypocrites on parade.

As I reflect back on the events that officially kicked off the train wreck that will be the Obama presidency, last Tuesday's Inauguration, I have some observations I would like to share.

I know, it was a historic event with him being our first black President, I get that and I understand the historical significance of it. What I don't get is everyone carrying on like it was the second coming of Christ or something. If you strip away the historical aspect of him being the first black President, what you have left is simply just another in a long line of inaugurations. We have them every four years. Big deal. Been there, done that. We'll have another on in 2012. Only then, for America's sake, let's hope and pray it is a Conservative being inaugurated.

Lot's of things about the inauguration made me almost ill. Not the least of which were the behavior of the new president and his two million mind numbed robot groupies there in attendance. Their classless behavior in booing the now former President Bush, and President Barack Hussein Obama himself getting up and ripping his predecessor in his speech made me want to wretch. Yet, if the shoe was on the other foot and we did that to them, they would call us racists and want us hung at high noon. Of course, the hard,cold truth is, 99% of Conservatives no matter how much we disagree with President Barack Hussein Obama and his policies would never stoop to the level of showing him that kind of disrespect.

Then there were the next group of mind numbed robots, President Barack Hussein Obama's personal cheering section and public relations firm, the puppets in the mainstream Liberal media. They showed their true colors by going on and on about how grand and glorious this event was and how wonderful the big inaugural balls were going to be. Funny, I seem to remember four years ago how they ripped former-President Bush and the Republican Party for spending $42 million on his inauguration, which is almost a third less than the $120 million spent by the Democrats and President Barack Hussein Obama. They ragged on former-President Bush for spending that money during tough economic times.

Tough economic times back then?? The same people who bend over backwards to tell us how times are tougher now then they have ever been in this country praise President Barack Hussein Obama for spending three times more during these tough times than his predecessor did when things were better. All of the major broadcast and print media outlets in this country, with the possible exceptions of Fox News, USA Radio Network, and SRN News were guilty of this obvious bias. And the even sadder part is, they don't see anything wrong with it.

They blatantly disrespected former-President Bush in another way too that was even more disgusting than what I just talked about. Pay close attention to broadcast and print news stories in the future and you will see that I am right. YouTube some of the broadcasts from inauguration day and you'll see what I am talking about.

Whenever they talk about Bill Clinton they refer to him as "former-President Clinton". Whenever they talk about our new president they refer to him as "President Obama". When they talk about George Bush though, they just refer to him as "Bush". They say it with such disgust and disdain that you would think they think they are uttering some sort of hideous vulgarity. If you measure media credibility on a scale of one to ten, these guys now have a rating in the negative numbers.

Here is another cold, hard reality about Liberalism, they want us to conform to their alleged ideals while they don't have to. They want to force all of us to become Prius driving tree huggers in an effort to reverse "global warming" while they continue driving around in their Escalades and flying in their private jets.

They want all the rest of us who work hard and try our best to do the right things to pay more in taxes so those who don't can get the government freebies. They say they are going to only tax "the rich". It's just that their definition of rich keeps changing. The income level that determines whether or not someone is rich keeps getting lower and lower thus pulling more and more people into this category.

They want to put the burden of paying for all these new government programs on the backs of those of us who are living paycheck to paycheck and barely making it as it is. The truth is liberalism seeks to give away things it doesn't own, like the money we work hard for. No government can give something to someone that it has not first taken from someone else. Think about this next time you find yourself thinking you would like to have some of these so-called freebies.
Someone has to pay for all of these programs. Stop for just a second and think about which one of your family members, neighbors, or co-workers is suffering and having to do without because you are reaping the benefits of what is being taken from them.

The Democrat party and their new president spent $120 million on the inauguration and all of it's trappings. That money could have gone a long way to helping those that they claim to care so much about and claim to want to help. The truth is, you won't catch any fat cat Democrats like Ted Kennedy, Al Gore, or even Barack Hussein Obama dipping into their personal fortunes to fund any of these programs they tout. No, they would rather pass laws that force us to fund them while their personal fortunes increase and while they try to guilt trip us because we get a raise in pay or are able to improve our station in life.

This all just goes to prove that the Democrat Party and President Barack Hussein Obama are not "America's, Hope", but rather America's Hype and some of America's biggest hypocrites. Them, and all their followers and supporters.

Confessions from your average Obama supporter

THIS SAYS IT ALL!!!!!

I voted Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I voted Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I voted Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves.

I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite The Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

I voted Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my anal cavity that it is unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view.

My how things change in 4 years!!

Shotgun preteen vs. illegal alien Home Invaders:

Butte, Montana November 5, 2007

Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11 year old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home.

It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay shooting champion since she was nine.

Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12 gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.

When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45 caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news........an 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself...... against two murderous, illegal immigrants......and she wins, she is still alive.
Now that is Gun Control!
AND TO THINK, OBAMA WANTS TO BAN ALL WEAPONS.
The bailout plan in cartoons.
A message from Patrick J. Buchanan
BUCHANAN TO OBAMA
By Patrick J. Buchanan
Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America . Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to. This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:
First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known. Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.
Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ' 60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white applicants. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals all over America have donated their time and money to support soup kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for blacks.
We hear the grievances.. Where is the gratitude??
Barack talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let him go to Altoona? And Johnstown , and ask the white kids in Catholic schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out scholarships for 'deserving ' white kids.? Is white America really responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for African-Americans are seven times those of white America ? Is it really white America 's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some cities has reached 50 percent?
Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the black community itself?
As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?
Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?
We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena . And all turned out to be hoaxes. But about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear nothing.
Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago.
I saw a magazine cover.....
That had Obama's picture on the cover with a caption that said "America's Hope". I couldn't find the picture online to share it, but I created something similar with my own response and here it is.
There is only one Messiah, and it IS NOT Barack Hussein Obama!
He could have done more, but we'll take what we can get.
Today, on his last full day in office, President Bush has commuted the sentences of two former border patrol agents who were convicted of shooting a Mexican drug smuggler in 2005. Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean were sentenced to 11 and 12 years repsectively. Bush's commutation means that their sentences will be completed March 20.
A commutation is a reduction in sentence where a pardon is a forgiveness of the crimes with which a person is charged. While I applaud and commend President Bush's decision, I do wish he had given each of them the full pardon that they deserve. So, half kudos to President Bush. You did the right thing as far as it goes, but you could and should have done more.
The Bush years: A look back.
As the Bush era comes to a close and this clown Obama prepares to take office, I thought it would be appropriate to take a look back at the last 8 years. I will look back with some fondness and some disdain over the events of President Bush's 2 terms. There have definitely been some highlights, and some low lights.
It all started in 2000 when George W. Bush won the election over Al Gore. That's right, he won it fair and square. You idiots who think otherwise, get over it. He was then almost immediately faced with September 11 2001 terror attacks on New York, Washington D.C., and a Pennsylvania field. He managed the nation and our recovery from this horrific tragedy in stellar fashion I believe. We have not even had a credible threat of attack since President Bush decided to show the terrorists America would not tolerate their misdeeds.
The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have been a huge topic of debate for many. We were right and justified responding with force to the terrorist attacks on our soil. I have often said that a much clearer and more decisive message would have been delivered to the terrorists if we had gone over to Iraq, turned the place 20,000 degrees, and been done with it. In some ways, the war has been handled properly, in other ways, not so much. But, the ways in which the Bush administration has mishandled the war and things related to it, is nothing compared to the way the Democrats will screw it up once their anointed one takes office.
I was in stark disagreement with the Bush administration when they came out in favor of the amnesty plan for illegal immigrants. You simply don't reward law breaking. Not if you want to remain a safe and free country.
And now, as the Bush years draw to a close, our nation's economy is in the tank, and in the minds of many that is Bush's fault. I don't think so. A co-worker suggested yesterday that it is possible that the markets have purposely created this economic crisis to make Bush look bad and then in Obama's second quarter they will turn things around and make out to look like the hero. Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? We will have to wait and see. Bush didn't cause the economic crisis and Obama's liberal tax increases and socialistic big government ideas will only make things far worse than they are now.
Many say we spent too much money fighting the wars. Had we spent more it would have already been over with and we wouldn't be having this conversation. I am as much against increasing government spending as any Conservative and more than some. My only problem with spending on the war is I think we could and should have done more to give our troops the tools necessary to do their jobs, to help make them safer, and to care more for the wounded and for the families of those lost. Where we have spent too much money as a nation is in giving free medical care, food stamps, and myriad other benefits to illegal immigrants. $400-600 billion a year we spend on criminal immigrant invaders would have gone a long way to taking care of those who are fighting and have fought for our freedom to have this debate.
George Bush was not as Conservative as I would have liked, but he was way better than his skirt chasing predecessor and his Marxist/Socialist successor. George Bush will carry a mostly positive legacy into private life. Not for those incurable and intellectually vacant Bush-haters who think he is the devil incarnate and whose views don't matter anyway, only for the patriotic Americans who are and have been paying attention these last eight years. Ultimately history will look back positively on the Bush years.
Another huge disagreement I had with President Bush was over the incarceration of the two border patrol agents Ramos and Campion who were arrested for doing their job. They have been locked up for two years now because they fired on a Mexican drug smuggler who was trying to get across the border with a stash of drugs. He tried to run over them and they shot at him. But yet they get locked up??
President Bush, you MUST pardon these fine defenders of our national sovereignty IMMEDIATELY. Do the right thing one last time before you leave office. I and many other patriotic Americans will be disappointed in you if you don't. Of course you will make the illegals and Phillipe Calderon happy if you don't. The question you have to ask yourself is, where do your loyalties lie? With America, or with Mexico and a bunch of criminals trying to get in here illegally? It appears it may be the latter and that is unfortunate and sad.
Thank you President Bush for your service to this country. I haven't agreed with you 100% on everything you've done, but I commend you for your willingness to give it a go. I believe you sincerely believe you were looking out for America's best interests, we just had different opinions on what those best interests were at times. And, in four to eight years we may all be wishing we had you back after Obama has his way with our country. God bless you President Bush, and God bless America. We are going to need it in the upcoming years more than ever.
The American auto industry bailout
I love America and the businesses that have made it great. Our big three automakers have fallen on hard times lately and have asked for government bailout money just like the banking industry has. Except for Ford. I have always been a Ford guy and am even more so now since they have refused to take the governement money. The raised the capital they needed to cover their shortfall the old fashioned way. They sold off assets. They sold their share of Jaguar to a company from India. They sold their stake in Mazda for $540 million. Go Ford!!
GM could do the same thing if they wanted to. They could sell off their share of Saturn, Saab, Hummer, or even their overseas holdings like Holden or Vauxhall. But, instead they have chosen to hold their hands out and beg us, the taxpayers and their potential customers to bail them out. They should be ashamed of themselves. Even Chrysler is in talks with Nissan about unloading Jeep.
Are the suits at GM that greedy, or are they just simply not smart enough to see the solution staring them squarely in the face? Obviously the guys at Ford get it. My only gripe with Ford currently is with how the have uglified the 2009 F-150. That is one ugly truck.
I would hate to see any of the car makers fail and go out of business. That being said, it is not our responsibility to bail them out. They got themselves into this mess by caving in to unions and paying inflated wages when the Japanese car guys were making better cars and paying their employees far less. The American car makers were then forced to price themselves out of competition.
Other factors that was beyond their control were the rise in gas prices and the trumped up fears about global warming. They spent billions developing hybrid technologies only to have gas go back down to a reasonable price and many car buyers go back to their big SUV's and rejecting the hybrid fad.
In conclusion, I just want to say hats off to Ford for solving your own financial problems and not coming to me and other taxpayers asking for a handout. As far General Motors, well, you should be ashamed of yourselves. And Chrysler, well, I hope you guys survive. I also hope you start making better cars. For your own sake.
The bank bailout fiasco
Our federal government has already bailed out the banking industry once. Yet here they are again asking for more of our tax dollars to keep them going. Funny thing is they can't seem to explain where all this money went. Citibank lost $2.3 billion dollars in the last few months and is going to get $20 billion from the government. Sounds to me like someone is making one heck of a profit.
Ultimately it's our money. When are we going to stand up and demand accountability? When are we going to shut off the spigot of free flowing cash to these money bleeding companies? I think immediately if not sooner would work. This is getting out of hand. Way, way out of hand.
Who's judging whom?
The other day I was accused by a reader of my blog of violating one of the key scriptures that we Christians try our best to live by, "Judge not, lest ye be judged". Apparently this reader has not read either my blog or his/her Bible in enough depth to understand the difference between judging someone and calling a spade a spade. I will go to great lengths in the next few paragraphs to explain the difference.
When you judge someone, you make assumptions as to the person's character. Saying that a rapist or murderer broke the law is not judging that individual. Even saying that since they were tried and convicted in a court of law they should serve time is not judging the person. Saying the person is a no good, worthless piece of trash would be judging the person. Sometimes people make serious mistakes, lapses of judgment and get in over their heads, but those people are usually salvageable and are still worth something.
By the same token, it is also not being judgmental to call an illegal immigrant just that. We have immigration laws. When they ignore those laws to come here then they come here illegally and thus become illegal immigrants. That is calling a spade a spade. Most of them are not bad people and mean well. They're just trying to make a better life for their families. That does not however change the fact that they have broken the law to get here and continue to break it by staying here. Saying that is not judging them and is not a racist statement. Neither is calling them what they are, illegal immigrants. Anyone who is not intelligent enough to know the difference has my deepest sympathy.
It was suggested by the reader that I should get to know some illegals and it might change my mind. It won't change anything. Getting to know them won't change their legal status just like getting to know a murderer or a rapist won't change their legal status nor what I call them. A murderer is murderer, a rapist is a rapist, and an illegal immigrant is an illegal immigrant. What really bugs me though are the statistics on how many illegal immigrants become rapists and murderers. Do the research for yourself. The numbers are staggering.
The reader was actually doing what she accused me of doing, judging. She was judging my character, calling me a racist and questioning my Christianity because I called a spade a spade. So, my question is, who is judging whom? I have never said I hate immigrants and have never called them all bad people. I have called the ones turned out that way bad people, but never have I lumped all of them into that category. This reader is the one judging, so, I would caution her to be extremely careful because it is not me she will stand before and answer to for doing that one day.
I personally don't care what she thinks or says about me really. It just shows that she hasn't bothered to get to know me. Those who know me the best, know that there isn't a racist or bigoted bone in my body.
I guess my final word to this reader would be, I hope you keep reading, and I hope one day you can find a way to handle the truth. I can handle the criticism. The question is, can you handle being confronted with the facts?
Global warming??
So global warming is responsible for dramatic climate change is it? Tell that to the people in Michigan, Minnesota, the Dakotas and other areas of the upper Midwest who have been dealing with brutal cold tempuratures in the -30's. I'll bet they wish they had a little global warming right about now. This should prove that the whole panic over so-called global warming is largely trumped up. The only "global warming" we need to fear is that which occurs whenever Al Gore opens his mouth and expells his hot air. Speaking of Al Bore, where has he been lately?? I'm guessing he's been in hiding collecting large sums of money from those dumb enough to buy his carbon credits. So Big Al, you want to help? You want to make a difference? Go to the upper Midwest, open your mouth, and watch the tempurature rise dramatically. How could it not with all that hot air??
I know what caused US Airways crash
Why are they wasting time and money investigating this crash? It's blatantly obvious to anyone paying attention what caused this crash. Just ask any liberal, they'll tell you. It's Bush's fault. And, the reason all the passengers survived was of course because of the Messiah, the Lord and Savior Barack Obama.
I think I almost stepped on one of these yesterday...
What is so smart about this alleged "Smart Car" anyway? I mean who wants to get 60mpg if you get squashed like a bug when you're run over by a Suburban?? I think I inadvertently almost stepped on one these little guys yesterday.
Back when gas was $4 a gallon people said "Sure, make fun of the little car. We'll see who is laughing when they fill up for $6 as opposed to the $60 it costs you". To which I replied "Maybe, but I'll be the one laughing when I'm driving away and he is still pulling the rope trying to get it started". I will say this though, those little Briggs & Stratton engines sure are reliable. Shoot, if you strap on the optional blade deck, not only is it a great commute car, but you can also make extra money on the weekends using it to mow lawns.
If I owned a big Ford F-250 or something, I actually wouldn't mind having a couple of these little cars to haul around in the back just in case I run out of gas or something. If you stack them right, you could probably get 3 of them in your average 3/4 ton truck. You could strap one to the back of your Hummer, and drive one up in the back of your Ford Excursion. Of course the best use for this "car" is keep it in your back yard and push your kids around in it.
The Smart Car. Body by Mattel, engine by Briggs & Stratton. Available wherever fine toys are sold. Batteries not included. Some assembly required.
Just a little humor (very little)
Q: How many Dallas Cowboys does it take to win a playoff game?
A: No one knows
Q: Have you seen the sign on the freeway near Texas Stadium?
A: It says Loop 12, Cowboys 0.
Q: How are the Dallas Cowboys and an armadillo alike?
A: They both lay down and die at home and get killed on the road.
Q: How do you keep a Dallas Cowboy out of your yard??
A. Put up a goal post.
Q: What do you call 47 millionaires sitting around the TV with their feet propped up watching the Super Bowl?
A: The Dallas Cowboys.
Q: What's the difference between the Dallas Cowboys and a dollar bill??
A: You can still get 4 quarters out of a dollar bill.
A: A dollar bill is still worth something.
Mrs. Johnson took her 4th grade class to a Dallas Cowboys game. About an hour after she dropped them off she got a phone call from Texas Stadium security asking her to come and pick up the kids. It appears they were beating the Cowboys by 2 touchdowns.
A young boy was in court for a custody hearing. His parents were abusive and the court was seeking alternate living arrangements for the boy. After reviewing and rejecting several family members the judge finally asked the boy who he wanted to live with. He replied "I want to live with the Dallas Cowboys. They don't beat anybody."
Labonte lands ride for 2009
According to a preliminary report on NASCAR.com, 2000 Cup Series Champion Bobby Labonte will drive the #96 Ford for Hall of Fame Racing in 2009. Hall of Fame announced today that they have aligned themselves with Yates Racing, one of the top Ford teams in NASCAR. The #96 car will continue to be owned by Hall of Fame Racing, but will operate out of the Yates facility and be maintained by the Yates team. There is no word yet as to who will sponsor the team. Texas Instruments DLP has sponsored the #96 since the race team was started by former NFL Hall of Fame quarterbacks Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman in 2006.
I must be a racist
What is a racist? The dictionary defines racism as "1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. 2 : racial prejudice or discrimination." Today's society defines a racist as anyone who disagrees with, and did not support or vote for Barrack Obama, and as someone who is opposed to illegal immigration. If you go by the dictionary definition, I am not a racist. However, if you go by society's current definition, I might be. Let's take a look.
If opposing the ideas, policies, and rhetoric but not the race or ethnicity of a political figure who happens to be black makes me a racist, then so be it. I'll wear the label proudly.
If expecting that immigrants to America abide by our laws and come here legally regardless where they come from makes me a racist, then so be it. I'll wear the label with pride.
If being a Conservative and holding Christian family values makes me a racist, then I'm guilty as charged.
Our liberal society has it all twisted around. I opposed Barack Obama's bid for the presidency because of the Marxist/Socialist views he espouses not because of his skin color. His blackness had nothing to do with it. In fact, there are several men of color that I would love to see run for and even be elected President. J.C. Watts is one. Michael Steele is one. Dr. Walter E. Williams is another. Supremen Court Justice Clarence Thomas is yet another I would support. These are fine, upstanding patriotic Americans who don't pal around with terrorists and don't to destroy this country with Socialism and political correctness.
Society also has this twisted notion that opposing illegal immigration and supporting the rule of law is racist. Is it racist to expect immigrants to America to abide by our traffic laws and not speed, or drink and drive? Is it racist to expect them to stop and stop signs and red lights? Of course not. Immigration laws are no different than these traffic laws. It is not racist to not only expect, but to insist and even demand that immigrants abide by our immigration laws as well.
Some even try to play the "God" card and say that it is un-Christian to oppose illegal immigration.They obviously, clearly don't know thier Bible. Either that or they know it all too well and choose to ignore it to push their agenda. The Bible tells us in no uncertain terms that as Christians we are to obey the laws of the land and that those in power who make and enforce the laws are annointed by God to do so. Don't believe me? Do the research for yourself then. Immigration laws fit this category. So that means God expects immigration laws to be followed and enforced. Now, tell me then, is God a racist?? Be very careful how you answer that one.
So, to set the record straight for those of you who may be thinking "this guy is a racist" and for those of you who have even dared to call me that, you couldn't be more wrong.There is not a racist bone in my body. If you would bother to actually read my posts you would know this.You obviously don't know me. So if you are one of those, I would like to invite to take a long, hard look in the mirror and a long hard look at the nearest Bible to see where God stands on this issue and how that compares to where you stand. I have done this and know that I am rock solid ground on my views concerning illegal immigration and concerning our incoming president. I make no apologies for the stances I take and if they offend you, that's your problem not mine.
