If you read the story below as it is written, you get a really clear picture of just how alleged journalists on the left view gun ownership and the 2nd Amendment.
78 year-old man accused of threatening to kill preisdent
The story paints a picture of a man with a houseful of guns of various types who allegedly mentioned he would like to shoot the president. I have some serious questions. Number one, if he maid the threat in April, why was he not arrested until November? Seems to give ample time to carry out his alleged threat. My second question is, how did the family quoted get so unplugged from reality as to equate gun ownership with suicidal tendencies? And, if you threaten to kill someone else, wouldn't that display homicidal tendencies? Or did the old man think he is Obama, and that is where the suicidal part comes in? Overall this is a very poorly written article, devoid of any substantive facts that leaves us with more questions than answers.
It could have been nothing more than an old man, sick of and fed up with the direction this country is being taken in, dreaming out loud to a caregiver about doing the country and the world a favor. Of course if he did happen shoot Obama how big of favor would he be doing us leaving us in the hands of Obiden?
