Freedom in the crosshairs

In light of last Saturday's Tucson shooting, some scary stuff has been coming out of our nation's crapital. Democrat Representative Robert Brady hopes to introduce legislation which could make it "a crime to use language or symbols which could be perceived as threatening". Of course this perception will largely be in the ear of the beholder and therein lies the problem. If some government official decides some phrase, some emblem or symbol, or some passage of writing is somehow threatening to himself or someone else, then those things will be criminalized and eliminated.

Some examples of where this could possibly lead:

Target stores would have to change there name and get rid of their "bullseye" logo.

Candidates would no longer be able to be said to have a "shot" at winning an election.

You could no longer say a candidate is "targeted" for defeat.

The concept of "targeted marketing" would have to be called something else.

TV and radio stations could no longer refer to their audience as a "targeted demographic".

No longer could we have "targeted goals" that we "aim" to achieve.

Anyone named Smith, Wesson, or Baretta would have to change their names because of the obvious reference to firearms.

80's rocker Pat Benatar would be forced to re-record her song "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" because of the words "hit" and "shot".

Popular songs could no longer be referred to as "hits".

We could no longer say that a political candidate was or should be "beaten" in the election.

On-Target Logistics would have to change their name and logo under the new law, as would On-Target Utility Services in the Northeast, and any other company with the same name.

The cities of Winchester VA, MA, and KY would have to change their names because of the rifle maker of the same name.

These are just a few examples of the unintended victims or casualties if you will when freedom is put in the crosshairs of Liberal, Socialist Democrats who want to control every aspect of our lives including our speech and even our thoughts. Of course these new laws would only apply to Conservatives, Christians, and talk show hosts most likely. Or possibly anyone else who dared disagree with the regime.

Of course the Supreme Leader of the regime Hussein Obama and his ilk would be give a free pass and he would still be allowed to say things like "they bring a knife, we'll bring a gun", or "I wanna know whose ass to kick", or "get in their faces". John Kerry would be given a free pass on saying "If someone shoots Bush (41), I might just have to go up there and shoot a Quayle". They would be allowed to keep saying these kinds of things, but if we said something like "our candidate has a real good shot at winning this election" we would be hauled off to the pokey. Simply because of the use of the word "shot" and because the regime does not like the idea of elections and winners and losers. They would rather appoint themselves as rulers for life.

Canada just this week banned the song "Money For Nothing" by the group Dire Straits from being played on the nation's radio airwaves because it contains the word "fagot". In not so Great Britian, preachers can no longer preach against homosexuality or call it a sin or an abomination to God as is stated in the Bible. This very well might be what we have to look forward to here in America too.

When freedom is outlawed and The Constitution is targeted for defeat and considered irrelevant and stupid, then America ceases to be America. America ceases to exist, and so do Americans. This is clearly and obviously what the Obamunists in Washington have in mind. They hate America and everything it stands for. There is a climate of hate in America, and that climate of hate was created by and is kept alive and well by Obama and the Democrats and their willing accomplices in the Obamunist media.

So let's target Obama and the Democrats for a decisive and stunning defeat in 2012. Let's beat them like a red headed step child at the ballot box, and kick their Marxist/Socialist butts back to the life of of relative obscurity that they so richly deserve. Let's put their policies and ideologies in the crosshairs and pull the trigger of Conservative victory in 2012. The target is acquired and we have a clean shot. Let's take it America. Let's take our country and our freedoms back!

P.S. Matthew 11:12 tells us "From the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and violent men take it by force". This passage alone would be enough to cause the Bible to be outlawed if these people are allowed to pass such laws and remain in charge of the destruction of America and everything it stands for. We must stop them at all costs.
