The Amazing Race Asia Season 4 Episode 5 Sets in the Philippines

If you have been reading my posts about the Amazing Race Asia Season 4, the teams were last seen racing in Sri Lanka. On next week's episode, they will be flying to the Philippines where they will be competing against one another in Legazpi, Albay.

A Manila Bulletin report revealed some spoilers on the the tasks for the detour. It would be choosing between the "Jig" (wherein they had to learn some dance steps to the severely LSS-inducing "Ibalong" song that told of Bicol's early epic tale of heroes) and the "Pig" (a more physically demanding task at that!).

One of the teams representing the Philippines, 'The Riches' (Richard Hardin and Richard Herrera) chose to mud wrestle with wily pigs. Herrera admits, "It was one of the most physical legs [in the race]."

Although the report did not say anything on how they fared during this leg, Tessa Prieto-Valdez in a colorful gown of roses was said to have greeted the racers at the Pitstop.

The Philippine leg of the Amazing Race Asia Season 4 will be aired on October 21 at 9pm, exclusively on AXN-Asia.
