The problem with the story in the link above is this; evolution is a myth, an unproven theory. The truth is we were all created as humans by God. we did not evolve from apes or tadpoils or anything else. At least I was anyway. if you want to believe you evolved from apes, feel free. That would explain a lot.

Ahhh, sweet revenge!!
2010 IS AN ELECTION YEAR!!!!
Retribution is less than 9 months away!
Read this and remember the elections in November 2010.
1. U...S. House & Senate have voted themselves $4,700 and $5,300 raises.
2. They voted to NOT give you a S.S. Cost of living raise in 2010 and 2011.
3. Your Medicare premiums will go up $285.60 for the 2-years
4. You will not get the 3% COLA: $660/yr.
5. Your total 2-yr loss and cost is -$1,600 or -$3,200 for husband and wife.
6. Over these same 2-years each Congress person will get an additional $10,000
7. Do you feel SCREWED YET?
8. Will they have your cost of drugs - doctor fees - local taxes - food, etc., decrease? NO WAY!!. Congress and all Federal Employees received a raise and have better health and retirement benefits than you or I will ever have!!! AT NO COST TO THEM!!!!! (YOUR TAXES PAY FOR IT ALL)
Why should they care about you? You never did anything about it in the past. They think you are too stupid or don't care. Do you really think that Nancy, Harry, Chris, Charlie, Barnie, et al, care about you?

In 2010 you will have a chance to get rid of the sitting Congress: up to 1/3 of the Senate and 100% of the House!
Make sure you're still mad in November 2010 and remind their replacements not to screw-up. It is ok to forward this to your sphere of influence if you are finally tired of the abuse. Maybe it's time for Amendment 28 to the Constitution..
28th Amendment will be as follows:
"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ..."

Robber didn't have to die
San Angelo Standard-Times reporter Jennifer Rios redeemed herself to an extent in the above article. In previous articles she made statements that the incident was a "robbery gone wrong" appearing totally oblivions to the fact that robbery IS wrong and what went on inside Cano's Diamonds was right and justified. Then, in a subsequent article she referred to the shooting of the robber as a "homicide" when the only crime committed was by the dead guy.
Always being one to give credit were credit is due though, she did a nice job with this aritcle. Good job Jen, you might just make it as a journalist/reporter after all.

Finally!!

This article is mistitled. Instead of reading "Man killed in robbery gone wrong" it should read some thing like "low life scum robber gets what he so richly deserves". Of course you won't see a headline like that on this or any other clearly and decidedly liberal rag sheet. The truth is nothing went wrong in this case and everything went right.
This is exactly the way it is supposed to work in a free society. A guy comes into someone's home or business in this case with the intention to rob and maybe even do bodily harm to the occupants. instead of being successful in his efforts he is instead summarily dispatched and leaves the place in a body bag. Case closed. No expensive trial. No three hots and a cot for who knows how long. It is taken care of by the occupant of the business as it should be. Justice is done.
This incident happened yesterday March 31. It was a good day for San Angelo and for America and Americans. Sleep well tonight knowing it is okay to protect YOUR home or business from malcontents like this one. San Angelo is a little bit safer tonight thanks to the employee of this jewlery store who quite literally took care of business.

UPDATE, 4/2/2010: In today's San Angelo Sub-Standard Times, reporter Jennfer Rios reported that the clearly self-defense shooting of this would-be robber was a "homicide". Perhaps if Ms. Rios is not smart enough to know what Texas law is these matters she should be reassigned to covering stories that are not above her IQ like bake sales or easter egg hunts. Either that or since the robber was a young Hispanic male and Ms. Rios is a young Hispanic female there is some bias in her reporting. Either way, her reporting of this story is a huge problem.
As a writer, columnist, and reporter myself I would caution Ms. Rios to fact check herself thoroughly before shooting off her mouth like that. She reflected poorly not on on herself, but on the paper as well. If a home or business owner shoots and kills an assailant in his or her own home or business, that is SELF-DEFENSE, not murder or homicide, both of which terms indicate mailce and or pre-meditation. Is this the kind of shoddy journalism we can now expect from The Sub-Standard Times??

Size matters!

Its true what they say. Size really does matter. In this case, we are talking about the size of the federal government. And bigger is not better. A bigger and more intrusive government is what the Pilgrims were fleeing when the left England. They were escaping a governement that stifled their freedoms all in the name of the greater good. Denying someone their God-given liberties is not in the interest of the greater good. There is nothing great or even good about it.
Barack Insane Obama has increased the size of our government to record proportions. Call it socialist government Viagra if you want. That actually is not a bad analogy. Making something gorw artificially for nothing more than your own selfish pleasure. Obama wants to look back and say "look at this big behemoth I created and worship me for it". A ginormous, seemingly generous benefactor that gives people "free" healthcare, that runs the nations banks and automobile companies. The ugly truth is, government cannot give anything to any one that it has not first taken from someone else.
This giant with a never ending appetite feasts on our tax dollars and always wants more. It never gets full. The only way to stop it from eating us out of house and home, is to kill it. Metaphorically of course. That's why this November and again in 2012 we need to put people in office who will do a lyposuction on our morbidly obese government and trim it down a respectable dare I even say attractive size. College students want phrase "our Lord" removed from diploma

Apparently a group of MUSLIM students at a CHRISTIAN college here in Texas take offense to the phrase "in the year of our Lord" being on the school's diplomas. Really?? What in the Sam Hill do they expect? It is a CHRISTIAN COLLEGE! The idiocy and lunacy of some people never ceases to amaze and annoy me.
What annoys me even more is that the so-called leadership of this so-called Christian college is actually considering caving in to their demands. That really show leadership right there. Letting the inmates run the asylum.
Here's a news flash for these snot-nosed brats throwing their temper tantrum, the school has the right to have whatever slogan, message, or whatever on their diploma. If something on there offends you, then GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL!! Or get your rich daddy or your uncle Osama or some other rich Muslim to start a Muslim college that you can go to!
These people say it about freedom of speech. Oh really?? Is it now?? So, let me see if I have this right, forcing someone else to change a printed statement because it offends and trying to silence them from expressing their beliefs while dmeanding you have the right to express yours however you see fit is freedom of speech? For whom exactly? Certainly not for the one(s) you are trying to silence. What about THEIR rights and freedoms? Contrary to your misguided beliefs, it is not all about you!! Get over yourselves!
