President Obama said recently that bloggers were “bad for democracy”. Well Mr. President, let me set you straight on several issues on which you are clearly uninformed and uneducated. I will start by reminding you that America is not a democracy. We are a representative republic. Democracy basically equates to mob rule or majority rule. In our system, which you sir clearly have no clue about or desire to participate in, we the people elect representatives to go to Washington and carry out our wishes. In other words sir, WE run the country, not you. You are there to work for and serve us, not yourself, not special interests and we certainly are not here to bow to or serve you.
Bloggers like myself are simply exercising our God-given and Constitutionally protected right to express our views, beliefs, and opinions. The exercise of this right is not “dangerous” to any one or anything except possibly to the anti-American, anti-freedom socialist agenda that President Obama and others on the left want to inflict upon us. Individual rights, freedoms, and liberties are always a threat to tyrants and dictators and the sheeple who blindly follow them.
So, I will say this to my fellow bloggers out there; keep up the good work. We are known more and defined better by those who oppose us than by those who don’t. Clearly, the president and his minions, many of whom will no doubt be reading this post soon, feel threatened by the things we say. That is because what we say is true, patriotic, and right for American. Which is totally the opposite of their beliefs and agenda. If I was them, I would feel threatened by me too. You can rest assured of one thing, the more loudly they protest, bellyache, and complain, the more fervently I will carry on in my mission.
