Britney Spears's most recent ex-boyfriend Isaac Cohen spoke to People mag this weekend about the popstar's recent troubles, saying, "I was definitely surprised that she went into rehab. I didn't feel it had come to that, but you know, if that's what it takes and if that's what she needs." Cohen said he hasn't spoken to his former girlfriend since he spilled a few intimate details about their relationship to a British newspaper about a month ago, but says he thinks she's made the right decision. "It's the best thing for her, her children - for everyone around her, actually. She's a strong girl and I really feel that she'll be okay."

Marc Jacobs in rehab

Designer Marc Jacobs has checked himself into rehab after a recent relapse. Following his show at Paris Fashion Week, the 38-year-old made the decision to seek treatment for drug and alcohol abuse after being sober for seven years. "Marc made the right decision," his business party told Women's Wear Daily. "He'd been sober for seven years. When he relapsed, he wanted to deal with it right away... According to the experts, such a relapse isn't uncommon. Thankfully, Marc recognized the problem himself and chose to deal with it. Obviously, our prayers are with him."

Love sued over rehab bill

Courtney Love is being sued by a Newport Beach rehab facility over claims the rockstar failed to pay an outstanding $181,000 tab. In a suit filed in Superior Court, Beau Monde International claims that Love paid only $10,000 of a nearly $200,000 tab after entering the clinic in August 2005 for court-ordered treatment after violating probation.

Britney gets another visit from her boys

Sorry...another KFed story. Federline paid another visit to estranged wife Britney Spears in rehab yesterday morning, and brought along sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to see their mom. "It seems like Britney is struggling being away from Sean P. and Jayden because Kevin let her spend four hours with the kids," says a source. Federline arrived at Promises in Malibu at six a.m. yesterday morning and returned home around 10:30. Spears was reportedly allowed to spend an hour away from the rehab facility at her Malibu home on Tuesday night while her bodyguards fended off paparazzi.

Robbie Williams leaves rehab

Robbie Williams has completed his 21-day stay at a rehab facility in the US to fight his addiction to prescription drugs. The UK popstar left Arizona's The Meadows and has returned to his home in LA. "Robbie has completed treatment in Arizona and continues with an after-care program," said a rep for the singer.

Simon weighs in on Britney's trip to rehab

Idol judge Simon Cowell has pointed his finely-tuned criticism at Britney Spears and Robbie Williams, slamming them for checking into rehab when there are millions of people suffering real hardship in the world. Cowell recently visited an impoverished country and, after bearing witness to the horrific living conditions there, says Spears and Williams have no idea what serious problems are. "This whole thing is a total indulgence. Britney and Robbie need to get a grip," Cowell says. "I don't know what's going on in Britney's head but my attitude is I couldn't care less. She should go back and live with her mum for six months... I went to a deprived part of the world recently... It really opened my eyes. You can feel sorry for yourself over the smallest things, but then you look at the world and you think, 'I've got nothing to complain about.' So when I hear about the Robbies and the Britneys going into rehab, I think, 'I'll tell you what rehab is. Go to where I just went, where people are really suffering and then you'll see just how good your life is.' I mean Britney is not working in a coal mine, is she? Britney Spears has reportedly booked an entire wing Promises in Malibu in the hopes of recovering with a little privacy. "She wants all the rooms on her wing," a source told a British paper. Fellow Promises patient Daniel Baldwin describes Britney Spears as "a little fearful" after meeting the popstar in Malibu. KFed visits Britney in rehab

Kevin Federline has shown his support for estranged wife Britney Spears by visiting her in rehab. "Britney scared everyone pretty bad," says a source close to KFed. "Kevin just wants her to be okay. He loves her, so however she can get better is just what we'll have to accept. [They] will make it work with the kids - it's all still for them." And as to reports that Spears is on "suicide watch," her manager Larry Rudolph told Extra today, "The story is absolutely untrue. Britney "a sick little girl," says her dad

Britney Spears's father spoke to Fox News on Thursday and said the problems faced by his daughter are "not about what other people think." Jamie Spears, who spoke to the press from his home in Louisiana, also said he and Spears's mom are "concerned about our daughter," who he described as "a sick little girl." "We're just trying to take care of her," he said. Spears's manager also spoke to the press today, but gave no details about his client other to confirm that she has returned to the Promises rehab facility in Malibu. Kevin Federline has disputed claims he called for an emergency custody hearing in LA, saying someone had contacted a Superior Court spokesperson and fabricated the story. Federline and his lawyer insist they never filed court papers requesting a hearing. "Kevin continues to be a very focused father with his children with hands-on management," said KFed's lawyer in a statement.

Britney back in rehab (yes, again)

She did it again! Britney Spears checked back into rehab this morning, and the emergency custody hearing that Kevin Federline had scheduled for today has been canceled. Maybe there was a method to her madness after all, as insiders say the reason for Spears's abrupt departure from Promises yesterday was so she could respond to the news that Federline was planning to seek immediate full custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. The word is that KFed has agreed not to involve the courts if Spears completes a full treatment program - but if the popstar leaves prematurely, Federline will once again apply for full custody. TMZ is reporting that Spears will complete between 30 and 45 days of inpatient treatment. According to paparazzi site x17, Spears and her assistant drove to Federline's San Fernando Valley house last night and despite buzzing three times on her ex's intercom, received no response. As Rosie O'Donnell pointed out on this morning's View, Spears gave birth to Jayden James only five months ago and maybe suffering from post-partum depression and/or psychosis. Let's hope she gets whatever help she needs.

Britney bounces back out of rehab

Britney Spears has already left rehab - the morning after checking into Promises in Malibu, according to Entertainment Tonight. "It was against their advice," a source confirmed to People magazine. "If she comes back for treatment, Promises will have to assess the situation. Sometimes people come back, but it doesn't look good." The rehab facility, which has treated high-profile stars such as Ben Affleck, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew Perry and Charlie Sheen, is a voluntary program - which means patients are able to leave if they wish.

Spears's recent erratic behavior is raising more than eyebrows for people concerned about the popstar's two young sons. TMZ is reporting that the LA County Department of Children and Family Services has received numerous calls to their hotline about Spears, and a former nanny spoke to Us mag about her experiences working for the young mom, saying that Spears "gets overwhelmed" when she alone with her boys. "She gets so frustrated when they cry, asking, 'How do I make it stop?'" The celebrity child minder said of being hired for the job, "Britney didn't ask me one thing about my child-care experience. She only wanted to know about my personal life... The agency that called me emphasized that Britney was looking for a nanny who was young and hip because they wanted her to interact with people her own age. Basically, Britney wanted a friend." And of working for the popstar, the source said, "Britney asked me and one of her nannies to come to her room to watch her try on outfits for a party one night - then she stripped down naked in front of us!... One nanny told me that Britney will hold her kids for 10 minutes and then say, 'I'm done now. You can take them.'... She doesn't like it when Sean prefers the nanny, so she fires them and looks for a new one."

Britney Spears is finally in rehab. "Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today," her rep said in a statement. "We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time." Spears is at an in-patient facility in LA, reportedly at the urging of family members. The popstar's out-of-control behavior of late has raised the concern of her estranged husband Kevin Federline, who canceled plans to attend NBA All-Star festivities in Vegas over the weekend so he could be available for Spears and the two children they share. "Kevin is concerned for Britney and his children," says a friend of KFed. "Of course he's concerned about her. He loves her. He's always loved her - even after she started divorce proceedings." Though the name of Spears's treatment center has not been publicly released, she has reportedly been seen smoking cigarettes on the grounds of Promises Treatment Center in Malibu.

Barton sister in rehab

Mischa Barton's little sister Hania is the latest pseudo-celeb to fall under the spell of addiction. The 19-year-old actress (also an O.C. alum) was getting "out of control," according to an insider, and has checked into rehab to treat an addiction to prescription painkillers. "Everyone is hoping that this will be the first and last time Hania has to be in rehab," says a source close to the Barton family. "She's young, but she's a smart girl, she will be fine." Older sis Mischa is reportedly upset and concerned, but glad her sibling is getting the help she needs. The name and location of what rehab facility Barton is attending has not been released.

Extra TV is reporting that Britney Spears checked into rehab after leaving Miami on Wednesay. However, it appears the popstar may have already checked out. TMZ has learned that the rehab facility was somewhere outside the U.S. and that Spears refused to stay. Her rep has not been reached for comment.

Update: A source has confirmed to People that Britney did indeed check into Eric Clapton's Crossroad's Center in Antigua "two or three days ago," but left after just one day. Spears's visit took place before her trip to Miami, rather than afterward, as widely reported.

Robbie Williams in drug rehab

Robbie Williams has checked into rehab for drug dependancy. "Robbie Williams has today been admitted into a treatment center in America for his dependency on prescription drugs," the singer's rep said in a statement released today. "There will be no further comment on this matter." A former girlfriend of the British singer was recently quoted admitting Williams used antidepressants. "It was clear he was struggling with his mind," Williams's one-time galpal told a British paper. "He doesn't drink, but he needs antidepressants to get him through the day. A lot of the time he seemed on edge." Williams recently cancelled tour dates due to exhaustion.

Lohan back at work...and play

Lindsay Lohan was back at work Friday just nine days after checking into rehab. "She is doing fine right now," said Lohan's publicist. "She is allowed to work, and thens she returns to treatment at night." Production on her new film, I Know Who Killed Me, was halted when the Mean Girls star had her appendix out, and was further delayed when Lohan admitted herself to LA's Wonderland clinic. The star's rep says her client will continue receiving treatment at the facility, but insists, "She is not in some sort of lockdown." Lohan was spotted flexing her shopping muscles at Dior over the weekend.
