Casio CA-01C Smartphone Combines Exilim Camera and 3D Functions

In Japan, summer is the season when new handsets are released, much like how big-budgeted movies are shown in the United States. While the market is being saturated by the likes of iPhone and Android smartphones, phone manufacturers still leave room for cell phones with cool features.
Casio, for instance, introduces the CA-01C, which is a combination of a phone and a digital Exilim camera with 3D functions. It is highlighted by a 3.4-inch naked-eye 3D touch display with 480 x 854 resolution and a 16.3-megapixel special mobile EXILIM camera with full HD recording, 3D picture display, 3x digital zoom, and LED flash. It also has a 0.8-inch OLED sub-display, DLNA support, easy access to YouTube, WiFi/ Bluetooth/ Infrared connectivity, e-wallet function, digital TV tuner, microSDHC slot, and HDMI interace, all encased in a dust- and waterproof body.
The phone’s camera even has a “business shot function” that automatically correct shots that were taken diagonally in conference rooms or trade events. I don’t know if this mode also works in other situations outside of business meetings.
The Casio CA-01C is distributed by NTT Docomo.
