New couple alert: recently-rehabbed Lindsay Lohan has reportedly been spending time with Jude Law in NYC. Lohan hit up The Box on Chrystie Street with the Alfie hunk on Friday and Saturday night this past weekend. "They are adoring one another's company," said an observer, who could not confirm the pair are actually dating. Lohan started her Friday evening at Nobu Next Door with her mom before heading to Stereo and eventually meeting up with Law. "She called Jude at one in the morning and met him at The Box," said a spy. On Saturday night the pair hit up The Box once again and were joined by Sean Penn and Tim Robbins.

Lindsay late to set again

Is Lindsay Lohan still a diva at heart? A source on the set of her new movie says so. The recently-rehabbed star reportedly kept crew members waiting for hours on the set of I Know Who Killed Me a few weeks ago. "When she finally arrived, she said that she needed to take a nap," said the insider. Lohan stayed in her trailer for five hours before throwing up and leaving for home, claims the source.

Lindsay skips Altman's memorial service
Despite referring to director Robert Altman as a "father figure" after his death late last year, Lindsay Lohan was a no-show at a memorial service for Altman on Tuesday in NYC. Lohan described her Prairie Home Companion director as "the closest thing to my father and grandfather that I really do believe I've had in several years" in a statement released shortly after Altman's death, but stayed in LA this week and was seen leaving a nightclub Tuesday night with Jackass star Steve-O. Many big names turned out at the event, including Harry Belafonte, Julianne Moore, Tim Robbins, Kevin Kline and Lily Tomlin.source

Devil actress defends Lohan
Anne Hathaway came to Lindsay Lohan's defense in a recent interview, admitting she also went through a self-destructive phase. "You know, Lindsay and I have a lot more in common than people think," Hathaway told a British paper. "We've all done things we shouldn't, it's just I did stuff at college, when nobody knew about it, so I'm not a saint... Lindsay's a nice girl, I like her a lot, and she's a great actor, but there's a fascination about her lifestyle that distracts from her talents. I just hope she finds some comfort in the way she chooses to live." Of her own party-girl phase, the Devil Wears Prada actress says, "I wasted time doing self-destructive things but it didn't work. I found out you can only dance on so many tabletops. I got all that out of my system and now I'm healthy and I'm grounded... I had to work through some s**t in my personal life. I wasn't ready to be a serious actress, with all that entails, because I still had a lot of questions about myself as a human being." Hathaway credits her boyfriend of three years with helping her recognize the positive things in her life.

Lindsay buys old Marilyn Monroe apartment
Lindsay Lohan has reportedly purchased a West Hollywood apartment that once belonged to Marilyn Monroe. The suite in the El Palacio Apartments boasts a bit of Tinseltown infamy - Monroe lived in the 2-bedroom ground-level home in the 1950s, actress Dorothy Dandridge committed suicide while living there in 1965, and 20-year-old heiress Georgette Bauerdorf was found strangled and facedown in the tub in 1944. Lohan expressed her admiration for Monroe in the past when she spoke to Elle mag in August about visiting the troops in Iraq. "I wanted to do what Marilyn Monroe did [during the Korean War], when she went and just set up a stage and did a concert for the troops all by herself," the Mean Girls actress said. "It's so amazing seeing that one woman just going somewhere, this beautiful sex kitten, who's basically a pinup, which is what I've always aspired to be."Friday, February 2, 2007
On-set scoop
Some on-set insiders have been dishing about celebrity behavior behind the scenes. A source on the set of Lindsay Lohan's I Know Who Killed Me accuses the actress of being "moody and is making everyone miserable around her. She'll be late and sometimes won't come out of her trailer," since Lohan checked into rehab. Lohan's rep responded to the claims, saying, "I am not witnessing [cranky, moody] behavior at all. When is this girl going to get a break without everyone judging her every move?" Aspiring "actress" Paris Hilton is also the subject of some on-set scoop, reportedly having trouble learning lines and arriving late to work on The Hottie and the Nottie. "Everyone is really fed up with her right now," said an insider.Thursday, February 1, 2007
Lindsay pulls out of film
Lindsay Lohan has backed out of an upcoming movie project so as not to compromise her health. "She doesn't want to just yes everyone and compromise herself anymore," said Lohan's publicist. "If anything has been learned, it's that what she needs comes first - and right now she needs focus." The film Lohan was set to work on is A Woman of No Importance, co-starring Annette Bening. "Lindsay is sad that she's unable to finally get to work with Annette, because she's a huge fan and respects her," said the actress's rep. "It's a mature thing to do... She's doing this so she can focus on getting better." The Mean Girls star will continue working on I Know Who Killed Me, which has had to postpone shooting twice while Lohan had her appendix removed and later entered rehab. She is also committed to doing publicity for Georgia Rule.source

Gwyneth supports L-Lo
Gwyneth Paltrow weighed in on Lindsay Lohan's recent troubles in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, telling the show, "My prediction is that Lindsay Lohan, she'll figure it out. It's really, really hard to be so young and so in the public eye and I think it's very confusing... It's hard to be that out there and, you know, when everybody's analyzing everything you do, and she's...very young." The Oscar-winner was complimentary to the young star, telling ET she thinks Lohan is very talented and will have a successful career. Paltrow admitted that her parents would never have allowed her such a public personal life when she was Lohan's age, saying, "My parents would have killed me if I didn't do it behind closed doors."source
Lohan back at work...and play

Lindsay Lohan was back at work Friday just nine days after checking into rehab. "She is doing fine right now," said Lohan's publicist. "She is allowed to work, and thens she returns to treatment at night." Production on her new film, I Know Who Killed Me, was halted when the Mean Girls star had her appendix out, and was further delayed when Lohan admitted herself to LA's Wonderland clinic. The star's rep says her client will continue receiving treatment at the facility, but insists, "She is not in some sort of lockdown." Lohan was spotted flexing her shopping muscles at Dior over the weekend.

Lohan's first week in rehab
Lindsay Lohan is reportedly doing well under the watchful eye of the Wonderland Center, where she is undergoing treatment for alcohol addiction. "She's been sending text messages from rehab saying she's the happiest she has ever been," a friend of the star told People mag. "She seems under control right now." The Bobby star has been photographed on frequent jaunts outside the center, which is allowed by the program as long as she has a "sober companion" from the clinic in tow. "We treat the individual's emotional, spiritual and physical ailments," says the executive director of Wonderland, which offers yoga classes and beauty consultants as part of its treatment programs. Lohan has been taking advantage of the center's lush property by taking hikes and participating in treatment meetings. A source says the biggest red flag for friends of the Mean Girls star was when Lohan turned up to party at Les Deux nightclub in Hollywood less than a day after having her appendix removed. "That's when [her inner circle] said, 'We can't make excuses for this,'" said the source. "She was like, 'You're right. So let's do something about that.'"

Lindsay was "out of control"
More details have emerged about Lindsay Lohan's downward spiral leading up to her checking into rehab last week. "She was a mess," a source says of the actress's behavior at a Golden Globes afterparty at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. "She was stumbling and slurring: her friends had to take care of her." The Globes night was reportedly the last straw for Lohan. "She's been out of control," says a friend of the star. "She was doing tons of pills, drinking every night." Though the Bobby actress has repeatedly denied having a problem, a source says, "She was going out every night till 5 a.m., acting crazy. Going to AA meetings wasn't doing anything for her. She was still drinking."source

James Franco addresses Lohan rumors
Spider-Man actor James Franco, who is rumored to be the reason behind Lindsay Lohan's recent commitment to rehab, spoke of the headlines at Sundance, saying, "It's a weird thing to complain about. It's obviously not a pleasant thing." Lohan is reported to have hit rock bottom after Franco's repeated rejection of her (read full story here). "It's just very odd because so much of it is not true and [has been] sensationalized. But there's nowhere to go. I don't want to refute it. I don't want to keep it going. What am I going to do?... As far as Lindsay, I'm friends with her and I hope she gets help."Friday, January 19, 2007
Did a boy push Lindsay over the brink?
Did Lindsay Lohan go over the edge and into alcohol rehab because of actor James Franco? According to the New York Daily News, the Spider-Man actor gave Lohan the cold shoulder at a Golden Globes afterparty hosted by Prince at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. "She came with her manager, Jason Weinberg, and a girlfriend, but she was mostly solo for the whole night," said a source. "Most people were in a good mood - except for her. She seemed lost. She was trying to get James's attention, and he wouldn't give her anything. She was smoking a lot, not drinking in front of him, and then she went into a bedroom. From there, she went back to trying to get James's attention again, and he was ignoring her. She ran out crying, with the girlfriend following her." Lohan was reportedly found passed out in a hotel hallway at 6 a.m. The Mean Girls star became enamored with Franco last June, when she met him at the premiere party for A Prairie Home Companion in NYC. "She was really taken with him," said another insider. "She and her friends were going to Bungalow 8, and he went along." Lohan and Franco were seen out together a few times in October, but it seems the actor hooked up with someone else and "is very happy in his relationship with his girlfriend." Paparazzi lenses caught Lohan as she checked in at the Wonderland Center in LA.

L-Lo gives an interview from rehab
Lindsay Lohan gave an interview only hours after checking in at the Wonderland Center rehab facility in LA. "I'm doing so great, thanks," she told OK! mag. "I'm fine. Nothing to worry about. Thank you so much for checking in, I do appreciate it... I'm actually watching American Idol at the moment and laughing so hard!" Lohan's mother has also given an interview since her daughter committed to rehab, saying, "This is a wonderful, giant step she'd taking and it's all good. Hollywood's a really, really scary place and everything is under control... Everything's great and she's just getting a grip on her life. When I was 20 I don't know that I would be that strong to do that, so it's all good." Lohan will stay at the clinic for a week or two, according to her mom, before continuing treatment on an outpatient basis. Work on Lohan's next film, I Know Who Killed Me, has been temporarily suspended until the actress is ready to return. "Then she'll pick up the film again and start working and have someone with her and all is good," said her mom. "As a parent I couldn't be more pleased and proud."Wednesday, January 17, 2007
L-Lo checks into rehab
Lindsay Lohan has checked herself in to rehab. In a statement issued today, the Bobby actress said, "I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time." The move comes after Lohan admitted to having been attending AA meetings for about a year. "I was going out too much and I knew that, and I have more to live for than that," Lohan said at the time. A source close to the star says, "Lindsay is in a very positive frame of mind and is looking forward to making a positive change in her life."
