Courteney Cox and David Arquette have listed their waterfront Malibu mansion on the market for a reported $33.5 million. The couple purchased the home for $10.5 million, and were in part interested because of the home's distinctive architectural style. The estate boasts four bedrooms, five bathrooms and an 80-foot beachfront area.

Notebook star Rachel McAdams is reportedly favored to replace Katie Holmes in The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins. As reported here earlier this week, Holmes passed up on the role due to "scheduling conflicts," and McAdams is said to be in negotiations to join Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Heath Ledger, Michael Caine and Gary Oldman in the film.

Gwyneth Paltrow weighed in on Lindsay Lohan's recent troubles in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, telling the show, "My prediction is that Lindsay Lohan, she'll figure it out. It's really, really hard to be so young and so in the public eye and I think it's very confusing... It's hard to be that out there and, you know, when everybody's analyzing everything you do, and she's...very young." The Oscar-winner was complimentary to the young star, telling ET she thinks Lohan is very talented and will have a successful career. Paltrow admitted that her parents would never have allowed her such a public personal life when she was Lohan's age, saying, "My parents would have killed me if I didn't do it behind closed doors."

"It's weird people want to paint it in a negative way." As to media speculation that her friendship with Tom Cruise has convinced JLo to join the religion herself, the singer said, "I, myself, am Catholic. But it's just sad that people would look at it [Scientology] in that way." After the interview aired, the star's rep said, "Jennifer is not a Scientologist, nor is she becoming a Scientologist."

Tom Cruise shouldn't expect Victoria Beckham to convert to Scientology anytime soon. "There's no way I'd spend my money on that nonsense," the Spice Girl alum recently told a friend. "It's completely laughable that there's even talk of her becoming a Scientologist," said a friend. "Just because people are friends with someone doesn't mean they do everything they do. Scientology is like kabbalah in that it's become all about money. Kabbalah bracelets are now $28! It's a joke... Scientology is an expensive religion - Victoria is too cheap to convert."

Romance continues to blossom between Jessica Simpson and John Mayer. Simpson was spotted grooving at Mayer's Miami concert on Friday night, dancing for the entire set as well as the 20-minute encore. "She was rocking out the whole time," said a witness. "She only seemed to know the words to his older songs though, because she sang along to Your Body is a Wonderland and his older hits." Simpson was joined by BFF Ken Paves as well as Billy Joel and his wife. "She was dancing like she was a real fan, and a lot of the crowd had their eyes on her the whole time," said the concertgoer.
