Beyonce gets 2 million Dollars to sing at Bella Adenuga's Wedding

It was heared that Beyonce Knowles was paid $2M . . . to sing at the wedding of Nigeria's richest man's daughter.

According to the source, Nigerian billionaire entrepreneur Chief Mike Adenuga Jr hired Beyonce to sing at his daughter's wedding. His daughter, Bella Adenuga and her fiance Jameel Disu are scheduled to be married next week.

Linda Ikeji's "It Takes You" is Officially Out

Blogger, Ex-Model and Entertainer "Linda Ikeji" now adds to her list of title as she officially rolled out her first book "It Takes You"

The book - It Takes You, (A Book of Inspiration) is a 130-page book of 30 inspirational, motivating and life changing articles written by ex-model, entrepreneur and blogger, Linda Ikeji. (Make sure you write my title like that :-))

It will sell for N800 naira at the bookstores (You can start buying at the stores after the launch). But if you buy directly from me, it's just N600, but totally free to students. I don't have that many copies to give out for free, that's why I'm hoping to find a generous individual or a corporate organisation to pay for the cost of printing more copies. I'm talking to one already. Hope it turns out well.

Rapper Dagrin in a Minor Accident

Rising rapper Dagrin was in a minor accident Wednesday evening, NET sources have confirmed.

The hip hop act, who had been underground for years, before finding favour with fans last year, had his car – a black Nissan Maxima- damaged yesterday while driving to Surulere (in Lagos) with his friends, after a careless truck driver ran into him and tore off his car fender. They were returning from Ikeja.

There was a brief argument, multiple sources tell NET; but no one was injured – and no punches were thrown.

Here’s a picture of the car Dagrin was driving.

The rapper has been unreachable, and repeated attempts at getting him to comment proved abortive. ‘The calls were getting too much, so he had to put off his phone’, one of his close friends who was in the car with him told us.

The source says the truck driver has agreed to be responsible for the damages; but we are unable to confirm this from Dagrin or a rep.

A MESSAGE TO PRESIDENT OBAMA CONCERNING NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER.

Mr. President:

Word has gotten out that in response to a district court ruling in Wisconsin which declared National Day of Prayer unconstitutional, you have cancelled this year’s observance of NDOP in May. As a Christian Patriot I am here to inform you that while you may be able to stop the government sanction of and participation in the National Day of Prayer, not even you sir, as powerful a figure as you are, not even you can stop PRAYER ITSELF. And you WILL NOT.

I predict and believe that all of the groups that planned to gather together in May for NDOP will continue with their plans and that these gatherings will be bigger and stronger than ever before. I know that you may not know or care one whit about the fact that this country was founded by Christian men on Biblical principles including prayer, but whether you are or are not smart enough to recognize it or acknowledge it doesn’t change from being true. PRAYER IN AMERICA WILL PREVAIL and yours and others attempts to stop it WILL FAIL.

You say you made your decision so as to not offend anyone. That’s a bold faced lie and you know it sir. You just don’t have the guts or the spine to admit that you don’t give a rat’s posterior whether or not you offend Christian Patriots like me and others and that the group you don’t want to offend is your fellow Muslims. For once in your political life tell us the truth. We all know it anyway.

So go ahead, infiltrate the prayer meetings in May, arrest those who attend and attempt to outlaw the practice of prayer. You will find that those you have arrested will continue to pray all the way to jail. You will only wind up hurting yourself and what’s left of your so-called legacy. Because it is not just Christian people you are going up against, it is GOD HIMSELF. And whether you like it or not, believe it or not, or acknowledge it or not HE IS THE ALMIGHTY, sir, NOT YOU. He has more power than you or your Muslim cohorts will ever have. And unlike your god Allah who is dead, Jesus is very much alive.

You have been called the Messiah, well you are not and my guess is you are about to find this out the hard way. Pick up a Bible if you even own one or have the guts to find one, and see what it says about those who have stood up against God and prayer in the past. See how He dealt with them. A similar fate could very well await you too.

The history and heritage of this great nation is rooted and grounded in prayer and other Christian values, principles, and practices. The only way this nation will remain great is if we stay true to these traditional values. It will be our undoing and our downfall as a nation if we sit back and allow you and your ilk to prevail. That is why I am calling on all Christian Patriots to PRAY ANYWAY, regardless of any court decision or presidential proclamation. I am calling on all Christian Patriots to pray for the judge who issued this decision, and for you as well Mr. President. I know the thought of people praying to someone other than Allah for you may be a bit unnerving to you, but I am asking everyone to do it anyway. Prayer changes things. It changes people’s lives and hearts. It strengthens families, nations, and their leaders. It will strengthen you too if you will embrace it and let it, instead of trying to stop it. AMERICA IS PRAYING Mr. President, WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. And many of us are praying for you!

Follow up to "Too dumb to teach" post

Fox News is reporting that the so-called teacher from Beaverton Oregon who was calling on members of his group that opposes the Tea Party movement to gather social security numbers and other personal info from Tea party members, has been suspended from his job while the matter is being investigated. He was put on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. An outright firing would have been better and more appropriate, but we will take waht we can get I suppose. Score one for the side of right!!

It was learned just this morning that a US District Court in Wisconsin declared the National Day of Prayer unconstitutional. Rumors have been circulating that President Obama has cancelled the NDOP for 2010. As of yet, these rumors reamin unfounded. We must rise up a nation of people who believe in the power of prayer and stop this asault on our God-given freedoms and our national heritage.

And we wonder why are government run schools are in such bad shape. It's because they hire dilusional morons like this guy (see the link above). How can someone who is clearly not smart enough to know that less government is GOOD and RIGHT possibly be expected to give kids a quality education?

And then to sit their and advocate illegal activity (acquiring the social security numbers of Tea Party members) and claim its a free speech issue? On what planet? This guy should be fired immediately. Of course the school administrators appear to be backing him, so he probably get off scott free, be touted as a martyr and a hero, and continue right on indoctrinating the kids of Beaverton Oregon.

This guy is a lose cannon. A twit with the IQ of Jello. Yet for some reason he is being allowed to "teach" 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. I guess that's what they call brainwashing and indoctrination these days, teaching. He needs to be teaching these kids the truth. That the Tea Party members are on the right side of history and on the right side of the issue of the size of government.

When it comes to the federal government, you bet size matters. Bigger is not better in this case though. Just remember, a government big enough to give you every thing you want is also big enough to take everything you have. This guy is a disgrace to the teaching profession, using his status as a so-called educator in an attempt to ad credibility to his ill-fated plans to topple the Tea Party movement. If the movement can be toppled by the likes of this twit, then it doesn't deserve to stand anyway.

This guy will go down in flames. And, hopefully his career will go with him. Just remember, right is a powerful force. Much more powerful than wrong. He is on the wrong side and if the Beaverton ISD continues to back and support him, then they are too. The kids of Beaverton ISD deserve better. Much better. So does America. We need teachers who properly teach and train our future leaders, not someone who pour a bunch of PC, liberal pablum down their throats. That is not educating. Not even close.
