Drill here, drill now!!

This is very eye opening stuff that came in our email today. Definitely worth passing along...........Jim

OIL (not a joke)
The U. S.. Geological Service issued a report in April ('08) that only scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report ( hadn't been updated since '95) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota; western South Dakota and extreme eastern Montana ..... check THIS out:

The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay , and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels.. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion.

'When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.' says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst.

'This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years.' reports, The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a formation known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly referred to as the 'Bakken.' And it stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada . For years, U. S. oil exploration has been considered a dead end.. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves.... and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!

That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years straight.

And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one should - because it's from TWO YEARS AGO!

U. S. Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World! Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006

Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. In three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this mother load of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore drilling?

They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth. Here are the official estimates:

- 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
- 18-times as much oil as Iraq
- 21-times as much oil as Kuwait
- 22-times as much oil as Iran
- 500-times as much oil as Yemen - and it's all right here in the Western United States .

HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this? Because the environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America become independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of people dictate our lives and our economy.....WHY?

James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entir e Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION barrels untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post.

Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price - even with this find? Think again! It's all about the competitive marketplace, - it has to. Think OPEC just might be funding the environmentalists? Got your attention/ire up yet? Hope so! Now, while you're thinking about it .... and hopefully P.O'd, do this:

Pass this along. If you don't take a little time to do this, then you should stifle yourself the next time you want to complain about gas prices .. because by doing NOTHING, you've forfeited your right to complain.

Now I just wonder what would happen in this country if every one of you sent this to every one in your address book. By the way...this is all true. Check it out at the link below!!! GOOGLE it or follow this link. It will blow your mind. http://www.usgs.gov/newsroom/article.asp?ID=1911

The Pot Calling The Kettle Black, or in this case The President calling the cop a racist.

Just about the time I begin to think that President Obama has done just about all the damage he can do to what little credibility he has left if any, he goes and proves me wrong. Follow the links below for more on this topic.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090724/ap_on_re_us/us_harvard_scholar_arresting_officer
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090724/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_obama_harvard_scholar

Here is my take on the above stories. This Harvard professor, Henry Louis Gates Jr., who just happens to be black was arrested by a white cop after he refused to provide identification per the officer's request. The officer who was investigating a reported burglary at the home was trying to determine if in fact Gates was the resident of the home in question and and was supposed to be there. Rather than provide the requested identification information like any decent, law abiding citizen would do, Gates instead went on an obscenity laced tirade calling the officer a racist and making derogatory comments about the officer's mother. Gates at one point said "this is what happens to a black man in America". A second officer on the scene at the time says the arresting officer followed proper procedure and protocol when he arrested Gates for disorderly conduct.

President Obama responded saying that the police "acted stupidly" in this situation. A day later Obama backed off a little saying he wished "cooler heads had prevailed". You can translate that into he wishes the cracker cop had let the black go free. The problem with Obama's remarks other than its obvious racial overtones is that he commented from a national perspective on a local matter of which he knew nothing about. Which is eerily similar to how runs this country.

Gates said "this is what happens to a black man in America", well if that's how you feel professor Gates, and how much you hate America then feel free to leave. And when you go take Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackass, and Jeremiah Wright with you. America will certainly be better off without such racists and race baiters.

This just goes to show that in today's America white cops are apparently not allowed to arrest blacks even if they commit a crime right in front of the officer without the white officer being labeled a racist. By the way, the arresting officer was appointed by a black police commissioner to be one of two officers who teach other officers about racial profiling and how to avoid it. He has the support of fellow officers both black and white.

I would not even be writing this column and there would be no news stories to reference had it been a black officer who arrested a white man. A black cop arrests a white subject and race never enters the picture. But, let a white cop arrest a black subject and it is automatically a racial issue. Where did we go so wrong in America??

Remember, only a racist would make a non-racial issue out to be a racial issue. Enforcing the law is not a racial issue. The laws apply to everyone regardless of race or ethnicity and should be and in this case were enforced without regard to race or ethnicity. This cop is a hero and this professor is a racist bigot who clearly hates white people. Yet it is the cop that is being vilified by the media and government. Sometimes I wonder and worry about my country, and rightfully so.

Withdraw Your Paypal Funds Without A Verified Account

Not so many can avail credit or debit cards, not to mention it's a long process to have one. Unfortunately, you need to have either of these types of cards to verify your account at Paypal so that you can withdraw your funds from there. Thanks to a Mylot friend and she helped me remember this easy process of withdrawing your money from Paypal. She used it herself and she got her Paypal money in minutes! I have used it once, too when a friend sent me money from abroad and yeah, I got it in a matter of minutes, too. How fast is that?

The idea is that we can actually do online transactions even our Paypal account is not yet verified. We send funds to a friend, do an online purchase, bid at Ebay, etc. only that it is limited to $500. Same thing is true with this process. This is an Online Money Transfer site like Western Union but said to be up to 50% cheaper. The site has an option to use Paypal. It's the same thing as purchasing online then. It is also available in many countries including the Philippines, India, Thailand, Brazil and the rest of Latin America, United Kingdom and a lot more. For more information please check the site by clicking the picture below.

Don't Stand in line. Xoom it online!

Smart Bro Troubleshooting: 'Limited or No Connection'

Since we are paying less, sometimes services of our chosen ISP get crappy. A couple of times I received this error: :'Limited or no connection'. Wondering how I fix mine if I receive this problem? I usually just unplug the Smart Bro thing, whatever they call that cable thing that we attach on our CPU, from the source of electricity. I then just wait for a few seconds after I close the message 'Cable unplugged' before I plug it back. I then notice that the computer logo on my taskbar is something like searching. It says 'Cable unplugged' again after a few turns but it immediately goes back searching again after like a second. It would say again 'Limited or no connection' for a second but after which it's cool. I can now able to use my internet after that. One time though it only worked the second time I unplugged the cable. Yeah, this is actually the same thing the Customer Service Rep would ask you to do if you would call them for this problem. That's according to my cousin. But yeah, I am not sure if it would work for you as well. Just give it a try I guess. (photo: courtesy of http://www.thedogatetheroastbeef.com/)

Finally Got My Jollibee Thermal Mug

Lol... Yeah, I got excited when I knew about this promo Jollibee's having wherein the fastfood chain is giving away a FREE thermal mug for their customer's 8 purchases of their value meals plus a peach mango pie for each meal. I have been looking for a thermal mug since College days since I needed it during night shifts in the hospital. However, I have not really seen the kind of design as this one which I like so much. Also now that I am about to work, I guess it is just so timely. Although I don't usually order the pie thing, I ordered 8 successive times just to have the mug. lol. Yeah, the promo will end July 31st. You can still catch up if you want one!

The most trusted man in America?? Not even close.

Former CBS News anchor Walter Cronkite, who passed away July 17 at the age of 92, was known by many as "the most trusted man in America". This begs the question, trusted by whom? The rest of the left leaning government controlled media perhaps? Or maybe its the mindless robots who believe everything they see on TV or read in print?

To patriotic, freedom loving, free-thinking, Conservative Americans though, he is not the most trusted man in America. As one of that group, I would trust the late Paul Harvey or anyone on Fox News long before Cronkite or anyone else in the mainstream media. All Walter Cronkite did was go on the air night after night and recite the Liberal talking points. Let's not forget, it was Cronkite who picked Dan Blather, arguably the most incompetent anchor to ever grace a camera, as his successor. Not only was he incompetent he was also the poster child for news reporting that is anything but fair and balanced. What is it about CBS News that attracts the worst common denominator of reporters? Cronkite, Rather, Couric, need I go any further?

Yes, Walter Cronkite was one of the most recognizable faces and voices in modern broadcast news history. And, despite his obvious Liberal leanings and reporting, he was loved by many Americans. He was an American icon.

Am I the only one who finds it odd though that Cronkite dies and it's national news for a couple of days, while on the other hand Paul Harvey, who had done news much longer and much better than Cronkite ever did, dies in Febraury and its barely a blip on the national news radar. Cronkite was just another news anchor. Paul Harvey on the other hand was a national treasure. Cronkite was a mouthpiece for Liberal ideology. Harvey was the voice of patriotic, Conservative Americans.

That my friends is the difference. The mainstream Liberal media was most likely happy to see Paul Harvey head off to that broadcast studio in the sky. Of course since he was Conservative they will probably tell you he went below and not above. Cronkite on the other hand, in their twisted minds, is sitting at the right hand of God giving Him news updates at 5PM Monday through Friday.

The same Liberal media types are I'm sure waiting anxiously for the day they can break into regularly scheduled programming and gleefully announce the death of Rush Limbaugh. In those media facilities there will be no weeping and gnashing of teeth on that day. There will be no tears shed. Instead there will be celebrations and pizza parties and what not. Although it wasn't publicized, I'm sure there were some high fives going around Liberal media news shops the day Paul Harvey died.

I remember as a kid growing up watching the CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite with my parents. Every time he would end his 22 minutes of attempted indoctrination with his signature "and that's the way it is" I would almost become physically ill. I would think "no Walter, that's the way you want us to believe it is". Back then, there was no Fox News Channel to counter the Liberal indoctrination at CBS, ABC, and NBC. Some of us had to figure things out on our own.

So now Walter Cronkite has left us. He left us with Dan Blather. He left us with a lot of Liberal bias. He retired just in time, right before the national news became the joke and laughing stock that it now is. In the grand scheme of things Walter Cronkite was just another in a long line of Liberally biased anchors who have contributed to the mainstream media becoming nothing more the sick caracture of its former self.

And that my friends, is the way it really is. Sorry Walter, I had to use it. It was just too easy.

Mayfield drug saga continues

I blogged recently about NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield's suspension from the sport after a May 6 drug test came out positive for methamphetamine. Since that time, Mayfield's attorney got his suspension overturned. According to NASCAR, Mayfield has again tested positive for meth, this time on July (see story at link below)

http://www.nascar.com/2009/news/headlines/cup/07/15/jmayfield.tests.positive.meth.ap/index.html

Now if he is in fact clean and NASCAR is somehow cooking the test results or is using inaccurate testing methods, then clearly they need to taken down a few notches and shown that they can't push people around like this.

However, if the results are correct, and right now that does appear to be the most likely cenario, then Mayfield needs to banned from NASCAR for life. He is a danger to the other drivers, crews, and to the fans. How will his attorneys feel if they somehow manage to get him reinstated knowing he is a user and he causes an accident and another driver, or worse yet an innocent fan or three wind up dead as a result?

Right now, I stand behind NASCAR and their decision to seek a reinstatement of the ban. Our legal system is built on the "innocent until proven guilty" concept. In this case, the drug tests serve as proof of Mayfield's guilt. All he has otherwise is his assertion of innocence. That is not enough to stand up against the proof provided in the test result.

Sorry Jeremy, you lose yet another round. Are you bound and determined to spend all the wealth you have built up racing on an illfated attempt to get away with something against NASCAR policy and against the law? It sure looks that way. Instead of driving a racecar, we may soon Jeremy Mayfield working a fast food counter asking customers "do you want meth, um, I mean fries with that".

La toya Jackson says Micheal was murdered

Jackson has erased any doubt as to where she stands on the death of her brother Michael. In a four-hour interview with News of the World, she shares her belief that her brother was murdered for his money and Beatles song catalog. “We don’t think just one person was involved in the murder. It was a conspiracy to get Michael’s money. I know who did it and I won’t rest until I nail them!” While LaToya is busy screwing the suspects, I hope the police get involved in making some arrests.

She also discussed the condition of Jackson’s body as more evidence supporting her theory of foul play. “He had many needle marks on his neck and on his arms, and more about those will emerge in the next few weeks. But nothing has changed my mind that this was murder and I won’t give up until I find out what killed my brother. A couple of years ago Michael told me he was worried that people were out to get him. He said, ‘They’re gonna kill me for my publishing. They want my catalogues and they’re gonna kill me for these.’”

Michael’s sister asserts that the people who most closely surrounded the pop star controlled his environment and kept him from family. “They tried to keep the family away at all times, even my dad. Michael was being controlled. No one could get through to him. We wanted to know why we were being kept away and my father Joe was always trying to get to see him. He tried so hard to be there for Michael. He was seen as a threat but he was trying to help. And if you keep the family away, you can conquer. It’s like they say, divide and conquer.”

LaToya also takes credit for ordering the second autopsy. She already knows the result of the toxicology reports performed by the family’s coroner and could only say “I think everyone will be surprised when the results come out.” Listen, the only way people are going to be surprised is if his blood work comes back showing nothing except Flintstone vitamins.

LaToya had so much more to say — after all, when was the last time the media wanted to talk to her? — that you can read here. Is there any doubt that she’ll be speaking to reporters for the rest of her life about Michael’s “murder,” children, and legacy

Faith under fire from our own military.

I never thought I would live to see the day when our government, let alone our own military, would so blatantly attack the things that have made this country great for over 200 years. Sadly, I have now seen that day. (Read story at link below)

http://www.idahopress.com/news/?2009-07-03-Pentagon-nixes-flyover

The Pentagon, led and controlled by our factless leader Obama, had denied an Idaho group a military flyover for their God and Country July 4th event because of "the explicit endorsements of Christianity". Apparently there is no one with a brain or a recollection of history running things at the Pentagon these days. This country was founded on Christianity by Christian men who wanted us to have freedom to practice or religious beliefs and celebrate them openly and publicly if we so desire.

A spokesman for the Air Force reportedly said that it is military policy not support or participate in anything that promotes or endorses and particular religion or ideology. To translate that into what it really means, if the has anything to do with God, Conservatism, or patriotism, count the government and the U.S. military out. They want no part of it. I want no part of a country or a military that wants no part of God. It is not my policy to support their policy.

So, I guess then means that all military chaplains will soon be unemployed then? After all, if they can't even appear to be endorsing or supporting something that is overtly Christian, then they sure can't have a chaplain on their payroll now can they? If this is truly the stance the military wants to take on this issue then consistency demands that they fire all chaplains at once. Of course we all know how this would play out if it actually happened. All of the Christian chaplains would be fired, but any Muslim or Bhuddist or whatever else chaplain would be retained out of political correctness and a fear of being accused of discrimination.

What they will deny to their dying day is the FACT that they ARE committing religious discrimination by denying this group the military flyover that has been a part of the event for 42 years. The event is no more and no less overtly Christian than it has been in the previous years, so why the sudden change? It can most likely be linked to the event that occurred on November 4, 2008 that may well have begun the demise of our nation as we have known and loved it, the election of Barack Hussein Obama.

I am the adopted son of Marine who was a Korean War veteran. I have always had the utmost respect, admiration, and love for our nation's military. With this event, those feelings sadly have now lessened somewhat. I still have the utmost respect and regard for the men and women out in the trenches putting themselves in harm's way for our freedom and safety.

It's the cowards sitting in their plush offices at the Pentagon and the capital who are too spineless to stand up for the faith that this nation was founded upon that I have a beef with. They don't deserve our admiration or respect anymore. They have put political correctness ahead of the Constitution, fear ahead of courage, and a liberal ideology ahead of freedom and patriotism. This is truly a sad time in our nation's history, and if we continue down this path I feat it may soon be over for America. Faith, family, freedom, and patriotism are clearly in the crosshairs of the Obama administration the military commanders they now control.

With a military that is now clearly against faith and patriotism, I am beginning to see how some people in our country can have a very low regard for our military. I am not in that camp with them, at least not yet. I still love our country, our rank and file military, faith, freedom, and patriotism. I just wish our so-called leaders in DC and at the Pentagon did as well.

Joe Legal vs. Jose Illegal

This is another email that came today that I thought was worth sharing. It is very eye opening and I could not agree more with its sentiments.......Jim

Here is an example of why hiring illegal aliens is not economically productive for the State of California...

You have 2 families..."Joe Legal" and "Jose Illegal". Both families have 2 parents, 2 children and live in California.

"Joe Legal" works in construction, has a Social Security Number, and makes $25.00 per hour with payroll taxes deducted...."Jose Illegal" also works in construction, has "NO" Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash "under the table".

Joe Legal...$25.00 per hour x 40 hours $1000.00 per week, $52,000 per year. Now take 30% away for state federal tax. Joe Legal now has $31,231.00

Jose Illegal...$15.00 per hour x 40 hours $600.00 per week, $31,200.00 per year. Jose Illegal pays no taxes...Jose Illegal now has $31,200.00

Joe Legal pays Medical and Dental Insurance with limited coverage, $1000.00 per month or $12,000.00 per year.Joe Legal now has $19,231.00

Jose Illegal has full Medical and Dental coverage through the state and local clinics at a cost of $0..00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00

Joe Legal makes too much money is not eligible for Food Stamps or welfare. Joe Legal pays for food $1,000.00 per month or $12,000.00 per year. Joe Legal now has $ 7,231.00

Jose Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for Food Stamps and Welfare. Jose Illegal still has $31,200.00

Joe Legal pays rent of $1,000.00 per month or $12,000.00 per year. Joe Legal is now in the hole minus (-) $4,769.00

Jose Illegal receives a $500 per month Federal rent subsidy. Jose Illegal pays rent

$500.00 per month or $6,000.00 per year. Jose Illegal still has $25,200.00

Joe Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.

Jose Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family.

Joe Legal's and Jose Illegal's children both attend the same school. Joe Legal pays for his children's lunches while Jose Illegal's children get a government sponsored lunch.

Jose Illegal's children have an after school ESL program. Joe Legal's children go home.

Joe Legal and Jose Illegal both enjoy the same Police and Fire Services, but Joe paid for them and Jose did not pay.

Don't vote/support any politician that supports illegal aliens...

It’s PAST time to take a stand for America and Americans!

Bar code info - FYI

Those of you who care to ONLY buy American may find this info useful. This came in our email today and I thought I would share it..........Jim

The following is a way to tell by looking at the bar code whether you are buying grocery products made in China and other countries as opposed to goods made here at home. The government and the various departments of government will never disclose this info, but we as consumers have the right to know.

If the first three letters of the bar code begin with 471 as in the example below, then the product is made in Taiwan.

000 - 09x = The product is made in America.
300 - 37x = France
400 - 44x = Germany
47x = Taiwan
49x = Japan
50x = United Kingdom
600 - 692 = China

Buy American by watching for the "0" at the beginning of the UPC bar code. We need all the help we can get!!

Palin's next move

Sarah Plain's resignation as governor of Alaska has many of us who are firmly planted on the right pondering her reason(s), and her next move. Did she resign so she could focus more time and attention on her family? If that turns out to be the case, then that is a good thing and she has my admiration and respect. Did she do it so she can begin to get things in order for a run for the Presidency in 2012? If so, then again she has my admiration and respect. I guess only time will tell.

Conservatism and Republicanism needs someone like Sarah Palin to step up to the plate in 2012. We need someone with a true Conservative heritage and record, not a RINO, to enter the race and defeat Barack Insane Obama.

The looming question is, is Sarah Palin the right person to fill that void? It would seem so,a nd for now, she seems to be the only name on the list. I personally would like to see Fred Thompson give it another go, only this time put together a viable campaign and get in the race a little earlier than he did last time. Actually, a Palin/Thompson ticket might just be unbeatable. Of course, I would be happier if it were Thompson/Palin. But, beggars can't be choosers.

This much I do know. I will be eagerly awaiting the former governor's next move. Possibly a move to the white house.

Micheal Jackson's drug abuse: ex-bodyguard Geller

Two of Michael Jackson's former confidantes, medium Uri Geller and ex-bodyguard Matt Fiddes, say they tried in vain to keep the pop superstar from abusing painkillers and other prescription drugs suspected of leading to his death — but others in the singer's circle kept the supplies flowing. "When Michael asked for something, he got it.

This was the great tragedy," Geller said Thursday in a telephone interview with The Associated Press from his suburban London home. Geller, who said he suffered a terrible falling-out with Jackson several years ago over the issue, said he often had "to shout at Michael, to scream at Michael" as he sought to confiscate the singer's stocks of medication during his travels in England.

Geller said he slept on floors or sofas in Jackson's hotel suites in a bid to talk sense into his sometimes-incoherent friend. "Most of the people around Michael could not say `No!' to him. He desperately needed someone there all the time who could say `No!' and mean it, who could warn him of the dangers ... and tell him the truth," Geller said. "The big problem was that many people wanted to help Michael, to save his life, but we could not be there all the time." Geller said Jackson relied on medications to help him cope with relentless pressure and media criticism in his later years. "With his sanity buffeted and health wracked by global bullying nonstop, I think it's actually incredible that Michael held up as well as he did," he said. Fiddes, an English karate instructor who worked as a senior bodyguard during Jackson's travels in Britain for a decade, said the pop idol abused prescription medications, not recreational drugs, and took so much that it could be difficult to wake him for engagements. "I confiscated packages and Uri did too.

I mean, Uri confiscated injection equipment from his room," Fiddes said in an interview broadcast Thursday by Sky News. "And Uri would scream at Michael, you know, intensely, to stop doing this. But we just were getting pushed out." Fiddes recalled one occasion when Jackson planned to visit London Zoo to see the gorillas, chimpanzees and other primates — but was too spaced out to go anywhere. The bodyguard said he and Geller "were both shaking him trying to wake him up. It was clear that he had taken something that morning and he was hard to wake.

We were extremely concerned ... We couldn't get him in a state that would portray him in a good light." Fiddes said both he and Geller told others supplying medications to Jackson to stop, but when their efforts "got back to Michael, he would have a screaming fit that we were interfering with his private life. He was in denial." Several other Jackson confidantes have expressed concern since his death at the volume and mixture of medications he was taking. Self-help guru Deepak Chopra said he rejected Jackson's 2005 appeals for painkillers and that their relationship suffered lasting damage because of it.

Geller said he was fearful that Jackson could not have completed his planned 50-concert run in London, which was due to start July 13. Stress over the imminent comeback, as well as drug misuse, combined to kill his friend, he said. "Whatever the autopsy will come back with, part of what made Michael Jackson's heart stop involved the stress and the anxiety that, 'My God, in a few days I have to get on a plane and fly to England.' But he could have done it," Geller said.

DEA joins Michael Jackson death probe

The circumstances surrounding Michael Jackson's death have become a federal issue, with the Drug Enforcement Administration asked to help police take a look at the pop star's doctors and possible drug use.

Following Jackson's death, allegations emerged that the 50-year-old King of Pop had been consuming painkillers, sedatives and antidepressants.

The DEA was asked to help the probe by the Los Angeles Police Department, a law enforcement official in Washington told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the investigation.

The federal agency can provide resources and experience in investigating drug abuse, illicit drug manufacturers known as "pill mills" and substances local police may not be familiar with, the official said Wednesday.

While the investigation into the singer's death deepened, passionate Michael Jackson fans spent another day in an uneasy limbo, awaiting word from the King of Pop's camp about where and when a memorial service might be held for their hero — and if they're even invited.

Speculation about the potential location of a memorial ricocheted during the day from the Staples Center to the Los Angeles Coliseum to the Nokia Theater.

One spot that was ruled out as an immediate memorial venue was Jackson's sprawling Neverland ranch in Santa Barbara County. Jackson family spokesman Ken Sunshine said a public memorial was in the works for Jackson but it wouldn't be held at Neverland.

That came as a blow to many Jackson fans who had already descended on the estate in the rolling hills near Santa Barbara with the hope of attending a public viewing.

"We're terribly disappointed," said Ida Barron, 44, who arrived with her husband Paul Barron, 56, intending to spend several days in a tent.

It appeared more likely that a funeral and burial would take place in Los Angeles, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press.

Many of Jackson's die-hard fans refused to believe that the family would bury their most famous son without acknowledging the supporters who helped propel him to superstardom.

"I can't believe they wouldn't do something for his fans," said Rosie Padron, who had roped off a spot just outside the Neverland gates. "Michael loved his fans."

New Yorkers weren't willing to wait. The weekly Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater turned into a Jackson celebration, with impersonators emulating his outfits and mimicking his dance moves.

Allison Hector, who wore a T-shirt with the image of the "Thriller" album cover, ecstatically emulated moves she learned watching Jackson's music videos.

"Nobody moves like him," the 19-year-old said, her eyes filling with tears. "I feel it in my blood — I just can't help it!"

On the legal front, Jackson's 7-year-old will was filed Wednesday in a Los Angeles court, giving his entire estate to a family trust and naming his 79-year-old mother Katherine and his three children as beneficiaries. The will also estimates the current value of his estate at more than $500 million.

Katherine Jackson was appointed the children's guardian, with entertainer Diana Ross, a longtime friend of Michael Jackson, named successor guardian if something happens to his mother. A court will ultimately decide who the children's legal guardian will be.

Jackson's lawyer John Branca and family friend John McClain, a music executive, were named in the will as co-executors of his estate. In a statement, they said the most important element of the will was Jackson's steadfast desire that his mother become the legal guardian for his children.

"As we work to carry out Michael's instructions to safeguard both the future of his children as well as the remarkable legacy he left us as an artist, we ask that all matters involving his estate be handled with the dignity and the respect that Michael and his family deserve," the statement said.

The will doesn't name father Joe Jackson to any position of authority in administering the estate. Also shut out is ex-wife Debbie Rowe, the mother of his two oldest children.

The executors moved quickly to take control of all of Michael Jackson's property, going to court hours after filing the will to challenge a previous ruling that gave Katherine Jackson control of 2,000 items from Neverland.

Paul Gordon Hoffman, an attorney for the executors, told Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff his clients are the proper people to take over Jackson's financial affairs. He called Katherine Jackson's speed in getting limited power over her son's property "a race to the courthouse that is, frankly, improper."

Judge Beckloff urged attorneys from both sides to try to reach a compromise. A hearing on the estate was set for Monday.

The will, dated July 7, 2002, gives the entire estate to the Michael Jackson Family Trust. Details of the trust will not be made public.

Jackson owns a 50 percent stake in the massive Sony-ATV Music Publishing Catalog, which includes music by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond, Lady Gaga and the Jonas Brothers.

Jackson, who died June 25 at age 50, left behind three children: son Michael Joseph Jr., known as Prince Michael, 12; daughter Paris Michael Katherine, 11; and son Prince Michael II, 7. Rowe was the mother of the two oldest children; the youngest was born to a surrogate mother, who has never been identified.

Rowe, who was married to Jackson in 1996 and filed for divorce three years later, surrendered her parental rights. An appeals court later found that was done in error, and Rowe and Jackson entered an out-of-court settlement in 2006.

Neither Rowe nor her attorneys have indicated whether she intends to seek custody of the two oldest children.
