Another great talent of Filipino roots is making the country proud after being nominated for a Best Supporting Actress award in the prestigious Oscar Awards 2011.The 14-year old Hollywood actress Hailee Steinfield played the role of Mattie Ross in the movie True Grit. Her mother Cheri is Filipino-American and is an interior designer. While his dad Peter is Jewish and works as a personal fitness trainer.
