Amazing Race Asia 4 Episode 4: A Fastforward Win For 'The Riches'

From Colombo, the 9 remaining teams were on the same train for a 3-hour trip heading to Galle, Sri Lanka where the 4th leg of the race was held. 'The Riches' of the Philippines arrived first on the clue box and immediately went for the 'Fast Forward' task which is a task that allows the team to go directly to the Pitstop after its completion . For this task, they had to have their heads bald using the 'traditional method' which was done fast enough making them win this leg - although some police officers had to check on their passports and visas after a car trouble while on their way to the pitstop. They both won 2000 USD each.

No other teams tried the 'Fast Forward' task. The rest of the teams did the 'roadblock' which was to unlock a chest - the unlock code they needed was the year when Sri Lanka changed its name to its current name (1972). After the 'roadblock', they then searched from hundreds of ringing phones to find a phone with a text message containing 'Correct'. From the phones they then head to searching an exact match of a picture they selected to that of a mask worn by a dancer in a group of masked people in a festival. Lastly for the 'detour', they were made to choose the 'Coconut Course' where they had to transfer from one coconut tree to another on a rope or the 'Language Course' where they had to memorize 10 objects in their local translations.
