They come in 3's

It has long been said that celebrity deaths come in 3's. Yesterday morning we lost Farrah Fawcett to cancer, and last evening the children of America became just a little bit safer when Michael Jackson died of a heart attack at age 50. Who will be number 3? Some are considering the death of Ed McMahon a few days ago as part of the trifecta. Could be I suppose. Maybe, for America's sake, number 3 will be Obama. Or not, because then we would be stuck with that bufoon Biden.

A message to the Department of Homeland Security

A nine page document was released recently by our so-called Department of Homeland Security and in it was a warning against speaking out against the president. Did I miss something? Are we now in Iran or some other country ruled by some dictator who doesn't have the spine or courage to take a little criticism? It would appear so.

Here is my message to Homeland Security. We are, always have been, and always will be a free country. our God-given right to free speech, free assembly, and every other right mentioned in the Constitution mean more to me and other freedom loving Patriotic Americans than anything else. These rights will not be taken away, by your department, or anyone else. I will continue to speak out against President Obama both through this blog, through my newspaper columns, and in my daily conversations until I draw my dying breath and you cannot and will not stop me.

The only threat I and others like me pose is a threat to Obama's Socialist agenda which can and will destroy America. So, if your department cares so much about keeping America safe from harm, how about dealing with the threat from within, our very own president. He and his ilk are the ones trying to destroy America. Try stopping them for a change. But rest assured, you will not stop me.

Obamacare - A messaage to the President.

It's now official, ABC can now be referred to as either the All Barack Channel or the Absolutely Biased Channel, after their Obama healthcare infomercial Wednesday night. There was only one thing he said that was worth commenting on. He said he would allow those of us who wish to keep our exiasting doctor and/or healthcare plan if we wish. He will allow us to?? Wow, what a magnamous gesture. Oh thank you so much sir.

Give me a king-sized break!! Who does this guy think he is" The supreme ruler of this country or something. We have a wonderful little instrument called the Constitution that guarantees all of us the God-given freedom to choose our own doctors and health insurance plans. This freedom come from God, not from the self-proclaimed Messiah Obama. If this is the kind of change he has in mind, then I have a quote from the movie "Home Alone", and that is "Keep the change, ya filthy animal."

My message to President Obama is this; Whether you "allow" it or not, I, and only I, will choose what doctors my family and I see, who we have insurance with, and any and every other health care related choices that involve my family and I. I can't speak for everyone else, but I will not allow you, or anyone else to cram some Marxist-Socialist, government run health plan down my throat or family's, so deal with it.

John minus Kate + 8

Well, it's official, the Gosselins are headed for Splitsville. I never really did have a lot of time or energy invested in the show that has become their empire and utlimately their demise, but you could kind of see that things were headed in a less than positive direction for this couple. There is so much wrong with this whole story on so many levels I don't even where is the best place to begin to dissect it all.

The overview, at least for me anyway, is this is a classic case of a situation where it started out as a cute show about a cute couple with an amazing story that quickly turned into a cash cow for both the couple and the network on which the show airs (sorry, no free publicity here). Fame and fortune has apparently gotten the best of them. And, please, spare me all the hand-wringing and complaining about the paparazzi. When you agree to have your family be paraded in front of a national TV audience every week for five years, what exactly do you expect to happen?

I am getting excruciatingly tired of the "we're doing what we do for the kids" mantra that this now un-coupled couple keeps repeating. Making those innocent kids the focus of a media feeding frenzy is not in their best interests. Making celebrities out of them is not in their best interests and is not conducive to anything that even remotely resembles a normal childhood. And dragging them through this firestorm of rumor and innuendo and the three ring media circus that ensued is not even within driving distance of being in the kids' best interests.

I have been through a divorce where a child was involved and it is true what they say, it's always the kids who suffer and who get hurt. Now we see eight innocent little lives that will be shattered because of the greed and slefishness of their so-called parents. Their divorce is not in the best interests of these precious kids. It may be a ratings grab for their show, and it certainly keeps these two in the spotlight, but how exactly does this help those kids??

"The show must go on" said Kate Gosselin on last night's episode, "for the kids". Hey Kate, how about adopting the notion that the marriage must go on for the sake of kids. How about not making them suffer because of your greed and inability to treat your husband, their father, like a human being. How about scarificing your fame, fortune, and the glitz and glamor of the spotlight and try putting a little more effort into saving the marriage and not the show.

Now that I've beat up on Kate a little bit, its John's turn. Can a guy get more unplugged and more checked than this guy? If having all the cameras in your face and all of the paparazzi following you around is such a hassle then why did you agree to do the show in the first place? Rather than own up to your bad judgment you continue to whine to the camera about how much you hate your life now that paparazzi follows you everywhere. You brought it on yourself. And sadly, you also brought it on your kids. They don't deserve that.

I would have a lot more empathy, even sympathy for John and Kate had they not chosen to continue to bask in the limelight of fame while their marriage crashes and burns. They say they are hurting, and they probably are. Divorce is NEVER easy, trust me, I know from experience. A time like this though is not a time to continue to thrust those kids in front of the cameras. Retreating and dealing with everything in private would probably be the best thing for all involved, especially the kids. And it would certainly be best for American TV viewers.

So John and Kate, if you really want what's best for the kids, then cancel the show and don't make them have to go through this divorce for all the world to see. It won't do them, you, or the viewing public any good at all.

For Fellow Husbands & Fathers on Father’s Day

I was looking through a booklet I have called "God's Little Instruction Book for Dad" and wanted pass along some of the wisdom from its pages, along with some of my own thoughts. Just a quick guide. Common sense would tell us that making our kids afraid of us will only drive them away. A reverential type of fear, or a respectful type of fear, like the type of fear we are supposed to have for God, is one thing. But we should never cause our kids to be terrified of us.

Wow! Like it or not dads, your kids are watching you and patterning their lives after you. If they see you smoke or drink, guess what they're going to want to do. If they see or hear you lie to someone, then they will too. If they see you mistreat their mom, then they will most likely mistreat their wives. On the other hand, if they see you love and serve God, they will follow that example. If they see you love, support, and serve your family, they will do likewise when they grow up. Not much upsets me more than to see these so-called parents who make their kids, when they are toddlers, look, talk, and act like little grown ups. You know the one's, they have their 4 year-old reading on a 4th grade level. They don't allow them to play with kids toys, watch kids shows on TV, run barefoot in the grass. No, they make their kids write essays, or practice spelling words. It's sad to see a five year-old with a better vocabulary than a thirty year-old, and it is saddest for the five year-old because he/she has missed out on some of the best times in life. Let your kids be kids! I'm not saying let them be heathens, structure and discipline are good things, but only when balanced with fun and play times.

As men, it's easy to derive our sense of self worth from our occupational title. We puff out our chests and say with pride "I'm a lawyer", or "I'm a doctor", or "I'm a ____". Not that there is anything wrong with any of these occupations or titles. Not at all. The thing is, one day we will all stand before God, even those who don't believe in Him, and give account of how we spent our lives. He could not care less how much money you made, what your title was, or how fast you climbed the corporate ladder. What He will care about is what kind of husband you were to your wife and what kind of dad you were to your kids. I think I would much rather puff out my chest and say, with great humility rather than pride, "I am a husband and father". I am not a perfect one by any stretch of the imagination, but I gladly and humbly accept the role.

Our kids hang on every word we say. And, some kids have hung themselves because of things said to and/or about them by their parents, fathers especially. We need to watch very closely what we say to or about our kids, and how we say it. Words mean things. And, whether it's true or not, and whether we mean it or not, when we say things to our kids like "you'll never amount to anything", or "you're as dumb as a box of rocks", if we say them long enough, our kids will start to believe it. They will take what we say to heart and will either live up to the positive things we say and the positive expectations we express, or they will live down to the negative ones.

Someone once came up with the idiotic saying "he who dies with the most toys wins". The reality is, he who dies with the most toys is still just as dead as the next guy. You cant' take it with you. My dad didn't make a lot of money and I didn't grow up in the lap of luxury having any and everything I ever wanted. I never went without the things I needed though, including time. My dad got off work at 5:00 every night and by 5:40 we were sitting down to dinner as a family. He was home every weekend instead of on the golf course or somewhere else. And, he took us to church every time the doors were open. I decided a long time ago that that is the kind of man I want to be as well. No, my dad wasn't perfect and there are alot things about him that I don't want to emulate, but he got some of the most important things right, and that is what I remember most. He passed away over 12 years ago, August 25, 1996. One of the most important things he left with me was an understanding of the importance of faith and family. In the end, nothing else really matters. Nothing is more important.

How are you defined?

It has been said that we are known, even defined by the company we keep. That could not be more true. It is also true that we are known and defined by those we support and defend or those we oppose and vilify.

With these premises now being established, let's take a look at our supreme leader Obama and see where he fits into this equation. Let's examine some the people he associates with, that he calls friends, and let's also take a look at some of the people he so clearly and vehemently opposes.

We all know about his widely reported association, even friendship with a Chicago criminal named Tony Rezko. Then there is his 20 year association with his pastor the wrong Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Wright is famous of course for spewing his hate-filled venom towards America as a nation, Jews, and white people in general. Obama appointed a known tax cheat (Tim Giethner) to be his treasury secretary. I have to wonder, with an arsenal of friends like these, who needs enemies?

On the other side of this coin, let's look at those who Obama does in fact consider his enemies and who so vehemently opposes and vilifies every chance he gets. Obama and his willing cohorts in the government controlled media go out of their way to ridicule and vilify Christians who stand up for the innocent unborn and stand in defense of the traditional definition of marriage. They scorn and make fun of patriotic Conservative Americans who speak out against government policies. They vilify and disrespect our military for doing what they signed up to do. They demean Conservative talk-radio, the only public media voice that the American citizens have. They ignore and disrespect the Constitution.

They oppose freedom, Conservatism, Christianity, and the rule of law because all of these things are the polar opposite of what they believe in and stand for. In their warped minds, government should run the people, not the people run the government. To them, freedom and liberties should be given out on a limited basis to a select few as dictated by the powers that be, and are not a gift freely given by God to all people and upheld by the Constitution.

They oppose everything that has made America the greatest nation on the planet and will keep it that way because the concepts of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to bear arms scares them to death. These clowns are more afraid of God-fearing, freedom loving, patriotic, Conservative Americans than they are ruthless, murderous, terrorist dictators. That's because the God-fearing, freedom loving, patriotic, Conservative Americans pose a much greater threat to their ideology and their very existence than the terrorists do. In fact, these Socialist Liberals who are in power currently are more closely aligned in their beliefs and their ideology with terrorist thugs and dictators than they are with the majority of Americans.

That is why our next round of elections are so vital. The very future and existence of our nation hangs in the balance. We must not allow ourselves to be fooled and sucked in by charismatic empty suits promising hope and change. We must not let slick talkers who are not even smart enough to know how many states we have or the difference between a breathalizer and an inhaler convince us that they are worthy of our vote or that they are qualified to run the world's greatest nation. Barack Obama and his minions are not even qualified to run amok, not to mention the United States of America. It's time to put real Americans, Conservative Americans, back in Congress and the White House!

Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran....

Kinda sounds like a Beach Boys tune, doesn't it? Well it needs to be our national policy on how to deal with that murderous thug of a dictator they have over there. It seems pretty obvious that this power hungry tyrant stole the election in light of his attempts to squlech protests. He sent foreign reporters out of the country and even warned bloggers against stirring up dissent. I have news for Mr, Mymood Iminajihad, this blogger plans to stir up as much dissent and trouble as I possibly can.

This thug needs to be gone. Unfortunately the only way to do that appears to be by making the rubble bounce off the streets of Tehran. Of course our spineless whimp of a so-called leader Obama isn't going to do that. He's been kissing up to Ahmedinijad since before he was ever elected President. As alike as the two of them are, it's no wonder they seem to work so well together. Kindred spirits if I have ever seem them.

A real leader, a real man, like Ronald Reagan would have taken that incompetent boob out long ago. He would have sent our troops over there to take care of business and then told about it the next morning AFTER there was now a giant, smoking crater where Tehran once stood. That is how you solve the problem of guys like Ahmedinijad. You don't reason with them, coddle them, and buddy up to them. And you sure as h e double hockey sticks don't give a big slobbery kiss to his hind quarters like Obama has been doing all along.

I referred to Ahmedinijad as an incompetent boob. Well, boobs usually come in pairs, right? So where's the other incompitent boob. Sadly he is running a country once known as the United States of America which is now looking more and more like the Socialist Republic of Obamastan. Not even the sexiest, racist thing Victoria's Secret has to offer can make this pair of boobs look good either.

The sad fact is, America and Iran both need a major boob job. And I'm not talking about a boob reduction either. I'm talking about a total removal. For Iran, they need one big boom to remove their boob. Here in America, we need a grass-roots uprising at the ballot box to vote our boob back to the relative obscurity that he so richly deserves. America's future depends on this boobectomy. Let's all do our part to make sure it happens.

The ACLU

A Florida high school recently adopted some new anti-God policies after and incidentt hat has them worried about being sued by the ACLU. At graduation, over 40 students stood up and recited the Lord’s Prayer. Some even painted crosses on their caps. The ACLU has not yet taken any action against the school or the students, but said something should have been done to stop them. The fact is, something should have been done to stop the ACLU a long, long time ago.

Let’s look at their name. The “A” is supposed to stand for “American“. There is nothing American about this bunch. America was founded on the basis of freedom by Godly men. The ACLU works very hard to stifle freedoms, especially the freedoms of God-fearing men and women. According to the ACLU, freedom of speech and freedom of religion only apply to those who are not Christians.

The “C” is supposed to stand for “Civil”. There is nothing civil about them. In fact, they can get down right mean, nasty, and hateful in pursuit of their agenda. I would not call that civil by any stretch of the imagination.

The “L” is supposed to stand for “Liberties”. They stand for Liberties in much the same way that Hitler stood for the Jews. And that is not very much.

Lastly, the “U” stands for “Union”. They actually behave very much like a union. If you don’t do things their way, the use intimidation and other strong arm tactics to persuade you to come around to their way of thinking. They display union thuggery at its best.

Clearly this group has an agenda and it is not a good one. It is not an agenda that is good for American or Americans. They must be stopped. Thankfully, they are becoming more and more irrelevant. They are a joke, a farce. They are almost as big a farce as our so-called president.

The fact is, by virtue of the way they operate and conduct themselves, ACLU actually stands for Anti-Christian Lawsuit Union. And, that is exactly what I will call them. If they want to be called the American Civil Liberties Union, then they MUST start to protect the rights of ALL Americans, including Christians and Conservatives. I am not holding my breath waiting for this to happen.

David Letterman is a coward

David Letterman, what a piece of work he is. You’ve no doubt heard about his latest lame attempt at humor, this one involving Willow Palin, the 14 year-old daughter of Sarah Palin. Sarah and Willow Palin recently attend a New York Yankees game. In his monologue, Letterman, after saying Sarah Palin has a “slutty flight attendant look”, went on to say about the game that “….in the seventh inning Alex Rodriguez knocked up Palin’s daughter”. Instead of apologizing for his blatant sexual remark concerning the 14 year-old Letterman said “I thought it was the other daughter, the 18 year-old”, like this somehow justifies and makes his remark okay??

It is not okay on several levels. First off, only a dirty old man with his mind firmly planted in the gutter would make such a comment about someone in their teens. I don’t care if he was talking about 18 year-old Bristol Palin or 14 year-old Willow, his remarks were classless and uncalled for. It’s no secret that Letterman cannot stand Sarah Palin because they are on opposite sides of the political spectrum. She is on the right side and he is on the wrong side. Only a spineless, gutless coward will verbally attack the children of an adult he disagrees so strongly with.

I personally think he went after the Palin kids because he knows if he were to get into a verbal sparring match with their mom he would go down in flames. He is no match for Sarah Palin. She has more class, honor, integrity, and dignity in the tip of her little finger than Letterman has in his entire body. Not to mention a much greater level of intellect and intelligence. And he knows this. That’s why he goes after the kids. He and others in Hollywood and the government controlled media. He also attacks the kids because he knows Sarah Palin has way too much class and is way too busy to waste her time getting into a battle of wits with a clearly unarmed man.

His remarks are even more revolting in light of the fact that he has an illegitimate child by a 19 year-old who he, to use his own words, “knocked up”. He has no right to comment on anyone else’s (Bristol Palin's) mistakes or bad judgment. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Forrest Gump once said "stupid is as stupid does". He was talking about David Letterman.

What's just as sad is Letterman and some of the other morons in his audience actually thought his remark was funny. Sexual comments made about a 14 year-old are only funny to the most vile and twisted among us. What does this tell us about Letterman and his fans then? Not anything good, that's for sure. The Bible tells us in Luke 6: 45 that "....out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks". That doesn't put Letterman in a very flattering light. Of course, he has never stuck me as the type to care what the Bible says anyway.

In typical liberally biased media fashion, it is Sarah Palin who is being made out to look like the bad guy in this situation. Letterman apparently offered her and Willow a chance to come on his show to which she responded “I don’t want my daughter anywhere near that man”. I don’t blame her. He got a 19 year-old pregnant, what’s to stop him from going after a 14 year-old? Palin is said to be “overreacting” with her “unfair” comments about Letterman. HER unfair comments?? What about his? She was being totally fair. He on the other hand was being king-sized jerk.

Todd Palin, Sarah’s husband and Willow’s dad, called Letterman a “pervert” after his remarks. He too now is being vilified. I guess the reason he is being vilified is because he was right on target and the truth hurts. Only a pervert would make a comment like the one Letterman made, and only a bigger pervert would stand up and support him and his comments and think it is okay to say what Letterman said. I hope Letterman’s piece of crap excuse for a television show loses a lot of viewers and CBS too if they back him up on this. It would serve them both right.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. OF THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.

I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books in six languages, and have studied history all my life. I think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is just a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes, these exist but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus.

Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about 10 - 15 years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.

We demand and then codified into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people whom we know could never pay back? Why? We learned recently that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has "loaned" two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is three times the $700B we all argued about so strenuously just this past September.

Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of "We the People," who loaned our powers to our elected leaders.. Apparently not.

We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy. Why?

We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?

We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election (now violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial that it wants marriage to remain between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?). We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what purpose?

Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, Social Security is nearly bankrupt, as is Medicare and our entire government. Our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and know precisely what I am talking about.) The list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth. It is potentially 1929 x 10. And we are at war with an enemy we cannot name for fear of offending people of the same religion who cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.

And now we have elected a man no one knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla , Alaska . All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No? Oh, of course. The media would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe is more important.)

Mr. Obama's winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change. Why?

I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now. This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation again.

And that is only the beginning.

I thought I would never be able to experience what the ordinary, moral German felt in the mid-1930s. In those times, the savior was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they did know was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory and promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his "brown shirts" would bully them into submission.

And then he was duly elected to office, with a full-throttled economic crisis at hand [the Great Depression]. Slowly but surely he seized the controls of government power, department by department, person by person, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The kids joined a Youth Movement in his name, where they were taught what to think. How did he get the people on his side? He did it promising jobs to the jobless, money to the moneyless, and goodies for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe , and across the world.

He did it with a compliant media - Did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and .. . .. change. And the people surely got what they voted for. (Look it up if you think I am exaggerating.) Read your history books. Many people objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and made fun of. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though ...

Don't forget that Germany was the most educated, cultured country in Europe . It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And in less than six years - a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency - it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors. All with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong, close my eyes, have another latte and ignore what is transpiring around me.

Some people scoff at me; others laugh or think I am foolish, naive, or both. Perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe - and why I believe it. I pray I am wrong. But, I do not think I am.

Since many of you enjoy senior citizen status or will sometime in the not too distant future, I thought you might be interested in this information.

IN GOD WE TRUST!!! Not the would-be Messiah Obama and his administration

Everybody that is on this mailing list is either a senior citizen, is getting close or knows sombody that is.

Most of you know by now that the Senate version (at least) of the "stimulus" bill includes provisions for extensive rationing of health care for senior citizens. The author of this part of the bill, former senator and tax evader, Tom Daschle was credited today by Bloomberg with the following statement.

Bloomberg: "Daschle says health-care reform "will not be pain free." Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them."

If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that Senators and Congressmen have their own healthcare plan that is first dollar or very low co-pay which they are guaranteed the remainder of their lives and are not subject to this new law if it passes.

Please use the power of the internet to get this message out. Talk it up at the grassroots level. We have an election coming up in one year and nine months. We have the ability to address and reverse the dangerous direction the Obama administration and it allies have begun and in the interim, we can make our voices heard! Lets do it!

If you disagree, don't do anything and continue being part of the problem, and not the solution.

Our beloved Jasper, a very regal Beagle, a great friend and wonderful companion. Sadly, due to chronic kidney disease, and Cushing's disease combined with old age, we had to have him put to sleep. Although it was and is very hard on us and we miss him greatly, we know it was best for him. He is in Heaven now and not feeling in any pain or discomfort.

He was more than just a pet, he was truly a part of our family. Until the Lord blessed us with our little Hannah from Heaven, Jasper was like our only child. I have never known a creature who loved french fries (especially the ones from Wing Stop) more than our Jazz. He was quite a character. His playful attitude and sweet disposition stayed with him even into his old age.

He hasn't even been gone 24 hours and we miss him already. He's got it made now though. He's romping and playing in Heaven, chasing squirrels and cats. He's probably even playing a game of fetch with my dad. And, hopefully he is eagerly awaiting our arrival as much as we are eagerly awaiting our reunion with him.

We love and miss you Big Guy!!! We will see you later!!

More media bias on display

In their typical biased fashion, the liberal mainstream media is at it again. They covered the killing of Dr. Killer for days and lamented the death of this murderer of the innocent unborn. In contrast, two military recruiters were shot in Arkansas and we barely here anything about it. This is because they can use Dr. Killer's death as a means to bash Conservatives and Christians and blame these groups for his death.

The recruiters were shot and killed by a Muslim American. God forbid that we blame a terrorist sympathizing Muslim American for a murder he actually committed. They can't blame the right for this one.

On the other hand, one fringe lunatic kills a killer like Dr. Tiller and we are supposed to blame Conservatism, Pat Robertson, James Dobson, and Rush Limbaugh when they had nothing to do with it. I don't trust or believe the Liberal mainstream media and neither should you. They don't deserve it.

I hate to admit it but, my democrat liberal friends were right!

They told me if I voted for McCain, the nation's Hope would deteriorate, and sure enough there has been a 20 point drop in the Consumer Confidence Index since the election, reaching a lower point than any time during the Bush administration…

They told me if I voted for McCain, the US would become more deeply embroiled in the Middle East, and sure enough tens of thousands of additional troops are scheduled to be deployed into Afghanistan…

They told me if I voted for McCain, that the economy would get worse and sure enough unemployment is approaching 8.8% and the new stimulus packages implemented recently have sent the stock market lower than at any time since 9-1...

They told me if I voted for McCain, we would see more "crooks" in high ranking positions in Federal government and sure enough, several recent cabinet nominees and Senate appointments revealed resumes of scandal, bribery and tax fraud…

They told me if I voted for McCain, we would see more "pork at the trough," in Federal government and sure enough, 17,500 "Pork Bills"showed up in Congress in three weeks...

They told me if I voted for McCain, we would see more deficit spending in DC and sure enough, Obama has spent more in his first 30 days than all other Presidents together in the history of the good 'ole USA....

Well I ignored my Democrat friends in November and voted for McCain.

And they were right ...

All of their predictions have come true.

Killer Tiller killed in church

Dr. George Tiller, a well known provider of late term abortions in Kansas was shot and killed by a so-called pro-lifer as he was serving as an usher in his Wichita church. Tiller has been murdering babies since opening his abortion mill in 1973, and now this murderer of the innocent unborn has been murdered. I am not really sad that the man is dead, I am sad for all the innocent babies that this man has murdered. I am disgusted at the fact that this purveyor of the legalized murder of the innocent unborn is being made out to be a hero and an innocent victim. Dr. Killer was far far from innocent and is certainly no hero.

The murderer who murdered the murderer should not be made out to be a hero either. Despite what he may claim, this guy IS NOT pro-life. You don't take a stand against murder by committing murder. Of course those on the left and especially those in the liberal media will use this a means to further vilify pro-life Christians and Conservatives. They will blame us, and probably even blame Conservative talk radio, for the act of fringe lunatic.

The thing that really ticks me off is all of the people who are up in arms about the murder of this murderer, but not a single tear is being shed by these same folks, not a word of outrage is being expressed about the innocent lives taken by Dr. Killer. A killer kills a killer of the innocent unborn, and the killing of the killer is mourned way more than the lives of the innocent babies that he has killed. That is the most tragic thing of all.

As a staunch Conservative, Christian, and pro-lifer, I vehemently oppose the murder of Dr. Killer. You don't help your cause by stooping top the level of those whom you oppose and doing what they do. No, this guy who killed Dr. Killer did not kill an innocent person like Dr. Killer has done for decades, but this still does not justify the crime he committed. Nobody wins in this case. Especially not the innocent unborn. While it's true that Dr. Killer will no longer murder anymore babies now, his killing does not help the pro-life cause.

True pro-lifers believe in protecting all life, even the lives the those who don't deserve it, like Dr. Killer. This guy who killed Dr. Killer IS NOT a pro-lifer and IS NOT a Christian, otherwise he would not have done what he did. Whether you are just and average person, a politician, or a member of the media, DON'T YOU DARE try to pass the blame for this on to Christians, pro-lifers, Conservatives, or talk radio. They are not to blame. The man who pulled the trigger is to blame, and the mainstream pro-abortion Liberal media and politicians share some of the blame as well. So, before you point the finger of blame at those of us the right, take a long, hard look in the mirror first. You might just see who is really to blame.
