Argentina's President: Pork better for sex than Viagra?

Argentina's president thinks eating pig meat is really sexy. Many people in this beef-loving nation reacted with surprise Thursday after Cristina Fernandez promoted pork in a speech during which she not only said pork is better than Viagra, but suggested she's personally proven it.

"I didn't know that eating pork improved sexual activity," Fernandez said in a meeting with representatives of the swine industry late Wednesday. "It is much more gratifying to eat some grilled pork than to take Viagra."
She even joked that "it was all good" after she enjoyed some pork with her husband, former President Nestor Kirchner.
"I think they might be right," Fernandez said to a laughing audience.

The president's half-joking speech in which she announced subsidies for the pork industry won prominent play on television and radio stations, prompting discussions on whether Argentines should add more pork to their diet.
Argentines are among the world's biggest consumers of red meat, and most people here stubbornly reject the idea of replacing beef with chicken, pork or other meats. Despite Argentina lying along rich South Atlantic fisheries, seafood is rarely seen on dinner tables.

Fernandez approved subsidies to keep the price of pork low despite inflation, and her government has also recently subsidized red meat producers after beef supplies sharply declined in the South American country.

The head of the association of pork producers, Juan Luis Uccelli, supported Fernandez's speech by saying that Denmark and Japan have a much more "harmonious" sexual life then the Argentines because they eat a lot of pig meat.
"In Osaka, Japan, there is a village in which the people who reached 105 years old and ate a lot of pork had a lot of sexual activity," he told radio Mitre.
Others were skeptical.

"There is no study showing that pork meat significantly improves sexual activity," Amado Bechara, a specialist in sexual disfunction, told the Web site of the newspaper La Nacion.

Miss Virginia "Caressa Cameron" Wins 2010 Miss America Crown

Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron won the 2010 Miss America title Saturday night after strutting in a skintight yellow dress, belting Beyonce's "Listen" from "Dreamgirls" and telling kids they should get outside more often.

Cameron, a 22-year-old from Fredericksburg, Va., won a $50,000 scholarship and the crown in Las Vegas after a pageant that started with 53 contestants. She outlasted her opponents in swimsuit, evening gown, talent and interview competitions.
Cameron is broadcast journalism student at Virginia Commonwealth University, and wants to become an anchor.

When asked during the interview portion of the competition her thoughts on fighting childhood obesity, Cameron said parents should curb television and video games.

"We need to get our kids back outside, playing with sticks in the street like I did when I was little," she said. "Expand your mind, go outside and get to see what this world is like."
Cameron said her win was a testament to her family's strength.

"You can be and become anything that you want to be, even Miss America," she said.
Miss California Kristy Cavinder was the first runner-up, winning $25,000.
The young women who came out on stage at the beginning of the pageant and danced to "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas are from all 50 states plus the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

After a week of preliminary competition, they each introduced themselves to the crowd Saturday at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
"From the home of the Governator, I am here to pump you up," Cavinder said as she was introduced.
The judges, the public and contestants themselves then trimmed the field over the next two hours.

Actor and "Extra" host Mario Lopez hosted the 89-year-old pageant with help from Clinton Kelly of TLC's "What Not to Wear." The pageant was broadcast live on TLC.
The panel of judges included radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, actress Vivica Fox, musician Dave Koz, Miss America 2002 Katie Harman, gymnast Shawn Johnson and former "American Idol" finalist Brooke White. Comedian Paul Rodriguez was set to be a judge, but organizers said he pulled out because of a family emergency.

Cameron, crowned by 2009 Miss America Katie Stam, will embark on a yearlong run with the title to represent the organization and raise awareness for her chosen platform.
Cameron, Cavinder and Miss Michigan Nicole Blaszczyk each won $2,000 earlier in the week for winning talent competitions among three split fields of contestants. Miss Oregon CC Barber, Miss New York Alyse Zwick and Miss Puerto Rico Mimi Pabon each won $1,000 in nightly swimsuit competitions.
Miss Oklahoma Taylor Treat won the $6,000 Quality of Life award, given to the contestant judged to excel most in volunteerism and community service.
Scores based on a week of preliminary competitions were added to Saturday's competitions to determine the winner. Each judge ranked their five favorites in order, and their ballots were used to pick the winner.
In all, the Miss America Organization awarded $340,000 in scholarships at the national level. The organization says its national, state and local chapters gave more than $45 million last year in cash and scholarships.
The pageant was preceded by a one-hour television special on TLC, "Miss America: Behind the Curtain."
The contestants picked 12 women from their own ranks who faced a public vote for one of three spots among the 15 finalists. Stam, a Seymour, Ind., native, was one of four finalists chosen by viewers last year.
The crowning of a Miss America began in 1921 as a publicity stunt to persuade tourists on Atlantic City's Boardwalk to stick around after Labor Day.

The bathing revue blossomed in the age of television into an American pop icon before fading in later years and losing it place on network TV in 2004. It moved to the Las Vegas Strip in 2006 in an attempt to reinvent itself and has found a home on cable television.

Judge awards ₦100m damages to Uzoma Okere

Justice Opeyemi Oke of the Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere has awarded ₦100 million in damages to Uzoma Okere who was assaulted by four officers of the Nigerian Navy on November 3, 2008.

Ms. Okere sued Rear-Admiral Harry Arogundade, the four naval ratings in his convoy whom she said beat and stripped her on the stated date, when she refused to leave the road for the convoy.

As part of the judgement, the court also asked the respondents to write a letter of apology to the claimants, which must be published in at least four newspapers within one month of the judgement. I'm getting confident with the Nigerian Judiciary, this shows that you can get Justice in Nigeria.

Serena Wins 2010 Australian Open

Serena Williams won the 2010 Australian Open championship after winning 6-4 3-6 6-2 over Belgium's Justine Henin. Following the win of the second consecutive Melbourne title, the 28-year-old Serena claimed her 5th Australian trophy (leveling the Billie-Jean King record in all-time list) and the 12th Gand Slam title in her career. For unseeded Justine Henin it was a great performance to reach the Melbourne final in her second tournament after a 20 month rest. In the direct meetings between the pair, Serena Williams leads 8-6, counting a 6-2 6-0 victory in 2008 in Miami,
right before Justine Henin retired even if being world nr. 1 at that moment.

Henin comeback gave results regarding the fact that she played two finals in the last 4 weeks. The Belgian tenniswoman claimed the Australian Open in 2004 and quit the tennis while playing the 2006 final due to stomach troubles.

Blogging and Me

Blogging has affected my life in more ways than I have imagined. It has played important roles in the way I was living particular chapters of my life. Let me tell you how…

During the past 4 years of my life, blogging became a venue for…

Freeing My Thoughts. I discovered blogging back in College -specifically in 2006. I first knew about it in the once most popular social networking site in the Philippines, Friendster. I have no idea then what the word “blog” means and how to actually create one. I googled it out and I understood that it’s simply an online journal.

Since then, I used it the way I understood what it is. I immediately set up a blog using Friendster’s user-friendly interface. At first, I thought it was hard but I was wrong. It was as simple as creating an email. It is just intimidating at first because of the “this-one-is-new-I-don’t-know-how-to-do-this “idea. But I tell you, you can easily learn it.

Yup… It was just timely since I also needed a venue to vent out my thoughts and feelings because I was away from my family for school – I don’t have anyone but myself to share them to. I was a probinsyano submerged in a whole new environment of urban living. That’s the reason why I started blogging when I can have time after school, especially when I felt like I needed to get some things out of my system and when I have enough money for I only used to rent a computer in a café near my “boarding house” before.

Most of the time I blogged about school stuff – basically just commenting on a professor’s mustache, telling how I was feeling on a particular subject, describing how my day at school was, etc. I also blogged some family stuff: my thoughts on my Tito’s death, how I was missing home, some family problems and similar topics. I also wrote on personal stuff like how awful the smell of my laundry was, my longing for someone, my wishes on my birthday and the likes. (Yeah… I like the word “stuff”… :D)

I would say that it helped me a lot since I was able to ventilate my feelings. It was a good feeling of letting them all out – may it be a good feeling or thought or a bad one. It took me back to my sanity. :D

Sharing My Self. The whole idea of just freeing my thoughts changed when people started commenting on my posts. I realized that my network of friends and their friends in the social networking site were actually able to read my blog. They started airing their thoughts, gave me advices as well and exchanged ideas with me.

Yes, the entire thing suddenly got interactive. I thought I was just writing a diary that no one else reads. But yeah, I was wrong again. (Haha.)

I also got a little embarrassed somehow since some of the posts I made were too personal and too funny to share. I just said to myself, “It’s just my opinion, eh!” (laughter). Another thing that I was ashamed of was my grammar. I admit that I don’t have much words stored in my vocabulary and my English is faulty. I just then said, “Who cares. It’s my blog!” (But everyone gets to read it, Noypi! lol).

Yeah, during this phase of my blogging experience, I was able to communicate and share myself with others. I made friends with strangers and my old friends knew me better. (Isn’t that great? :D)

Providing Information and consequently Earning. In January 2009, while waiting for the results of a board exam that I took, I thought of creating a webpage that would provide information about the upcoming results. I put up a blog at Blogger.com dedicated for that purpose. While I was doing this though, I was already active on finding ways to earn and I thought of “online”. Indeed, there are ways to make money on the internet and I was amazed to find out that one of them is through blogging.

Yeah, all the time that I was posting on my blog, I never thought that I could have been more fruitful if I only knew that I can also earn from the thing that was giving so much benefits on me, beforehand. All I had to do was to figure out how it actually works.

And so, I read lots of online articles about earning through blogging. I applied what I learned but it wasn’t easy. I thought I would get instant results but my first month only gave me $10. And take note, so much hardwork has been exhausted to earn that amount in a month.

Yes I gave up learning how to earn through blogging. I focused on some other things although I posted once in a while when I felt like to. I also got an offline job that was taking so much of my time.

Until late September last year, when I came a across this advertising company which I got interested on… What’s good about it is that I get to interact with the community of publishers which mostly are bloggers. I started learning their ways and more other ways on how to improve my blog and my rankings.

I re-applied what I previously learned and added the new info I got. Lucky enough, I got my first Adsense payment that month. Another advertising company also paid me for the first time the same month. I focused on providing information and amazingly, it gave me some income.

My Blogging Plans and Goals for 2011.

I still consider blogging as a hobby that takes my stresses out and makes me a social being. But the fact that I could also earn while having those benefits, I thought, “Why not make the most of it and earn more?”:D

So far, I am receiving my monthly Adsense payment but it is too little for me though. I have to do a lot of things still. It’s a brand new year and so let me share to you my blogging plans and goals for 2011.

1. Improve My Stats. I am hoping for better stats this year - from the pageranks and alexa ranks of my blogs, up to their daily traffic. There is only one way to do this – I need to post as much quality content as possible.

My readings told me that “content is the king” and I have to agree with that. It is the most effective SEO (Search Engine Optimization) technique, I believe. So I better work my ass off and keep writing.

Aside from my limited vocabulary, being lazy has always been my problem. I hope I could win more battles against laziness this year. I need to be more dedicated and perhaps more inspired as well to do so. (Emo much? Haha.)

2. Get a Domain. I am realizing this in 2011. Yeah, I never had a domain since I thought it is expensive and I don’t have much savings to pay for it. I just realized a few months ago that it is affordable after all.

Having one I believe is an important aspect of SEO and would make me free from the fear that Blogger/Blogspot may delete my blogs hosted to them at anytime as what other bloggers experienced. And so I am willing to spend some of my savings and eager to learn setting up domains and backpacking to other hosts.

Well, I am also hopeful that writing this post would actually make me have one. (You’ll know why at the end of this post… :D)

3. Develop my Writing Skills. I am no writer and I don’t have much background on journalism either. Although blogging in its sense is just free-form writing, I think one must follow basic journalism principles if he/she intends to create a blog that deals with information. Since I am also relaying info through my blogs, I think I have to ponder more on those principles and maybe read news articles also so that I could have a grasp on how to write those.

To address my grammar and vocabulary issues I guess I have to spend more time in reading books and magazines also.

4. Be More Creative. I have found out that being creative is an important aspect of one’s “blogging for money endeavor”. From making a blog header to its layout and widgets, one has to show his/her creative side. He/She also has to demonstrate creativity on his/her attack on SEO. I am hopeful that I could exhibit this side of me more this year.

5. Hold a Blogversary Giveaway. One sign that a blogger is successful or contented on his/her blogging venture is when he/she already holds a giveaway. I hope that by mid-September which will be my blogging re-birth 1st anniversary, I could already facilitate a giveaway of my own. (Wish me luck! :D)

Pictures: Venus Williams almost naked at Australian Open 2010

So far Venus Williams played excellent at the Australian Open, the American tenniswoman progressing to the second round after defeating Lucie Safarova. But Williams drew the attention of the public with her outfit during the game, making many people think if she wore underwear or not. According to the pictures and the slow-motion video recordings, Venus Willliams looks like she is somehow naked.

This is not the only time when Venus tricks the men imagination. In the double game played along with her sister Serena against the pair Raluca Olaru and Olga Savciuc, Williams wore a quite compromising outfit as well.

Six Things Beyonce Will do on Her Six Months Break

Beyonce says during her break:

1. She is not stepping into the studio and will stay away from her shoots and recordings.

2. She would eat out a lot and would be visiting lots and lots of restaurants.

3. She is also eager to take up a few classes (maybe cooking or French-learning)

4. She is also keen to head into theatres and watch lots of movies munching popcorns to give her jaws something to work upon.

5. She, even, is desirous of making a dash to the Broadway theatres and witness some plays. Hmmm….

6. And finally, she quips, she’d be doing a lot of random things (of which neither she nor we have any idea, at present).

She needs the rest!

Forbes lists top-earning celebrity couples

(The Frisky) -- What makes more than an uber-celebrity who earns millions per movie, album, or TV season?
Two uber-celebrities who just happen to be married.
Forbes is always giving us a behind-the-scenes peek at famous finances -- don't tell us you weren't surprised by the top-earning dead celebrities -- and their latest list shows the famous couples who made the most from June 2008 to June 2009.
Topping the list -- actually, clobbering the list (they made almost twice what the #2 couple grossed) -- are Jay-Z and Beyonce. Together, they banked $122 million smackeroos. Interestingly, Beyonce is the one who brought home the most bacon -- she earned $87 million to his $35 million. Also notable: While this is a massive amount of money, it's actually much less than these two made last year, when they pulled in $162 million cumulatively.
So which other couples gave them a run (or halfhearted jog) for their money? It's not who you think.
2. Coming in second place are surprise contenders -- Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart. They earned $69 million thanks to Harrison's bloated $65 million paycheck for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Suddenly, Calista's $4 million for "Brothers & Sisters" looks weak.
3. Most of you would probably guess that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would be number one on the list. But nope. They earned $55 million total, both bringing in exactly half the loot.
4. Next up, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, who raked in $48 million. Perhaps they would have done a little better if they counted how much kidlets Jaden ("The Karate Kid") and Willow ("Madagascar") made.
5. David and Victoria Beckham are number five on the list with $46 million between them. Most of it is soccer money, but Victoria must have made a little money for her appearance on "Project Runway." Wonder what she'll get for guest-judging on "American Idol"?
6. Awww. Adorable couple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi made $36 million last year, between Ellen's TV show, those Am Ex commercials, and her stint as a CoverGirl. But Portia isn't just coasting -- she's on "Better Off Ted."
7. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are next. Most of their $35.5 million came from his fee for "Angels & Demons."
8. This year, Jim Carrey made the bulk of the household income for himself and Jenny McCarthy. But Jenny is on the rise! She's been tapped by Oprah's Harpo company to have a new show.
9. We're pretty shocked that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are this far down the list, making a measly $33.5 million. Only half a mill of it came from Katie. Can she start auditioning for some roles soon?
10. Bringing up the rear: Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow, who made $33 million collectively. Interestingly, Chris is the top earner in the family. But Gwyneth is goopier.
Who are you surprised didn't make the top 10? [Forbes]

Wyclef Jean defends his Haiti charity

LOS ANGELES – Haitian-born rapper Wyclef Jean spoke out Saturday in defense of his foundation after charity screening groups raised concerns about its accounting practices.
Jean said he was baffled by the timing and nature of criticism of The Wyclef Jean Foundation Inc., which has already raised more than $2 million to help earthquake victims.
"It is impossible for me to even comprehend the recent attacks on my character and the integrity of my foundation," he said in a statement. "The fact that these attacks come as we are mobilized to meet the greatest human tragedy in the history of Haiti only serves to perplex me even further."
Jean, a 37-year-old Grammy-winning artist, has been imploring followers to text "Yele" to 501501 to donate $5 to his foundation in support of Haitian earthquake victims.
The foundation, also known as Yele Haiti, intends to airlift medical supplies, water and Clif Bars to Haiti using a FedEx plane early next week, according to foundation president Hugh Locke.
An Associated Press review of tax returns and independent audits provided by Jean's foundation showed that it was closely intertwined with Jean's businesses.
Jean said he has never profited personally through his work with the organization and he has committed significant amounts of his time and money to the charity.

9ice and Toni Payne Announce Separation

Press release from 9ice’s PR Company

Lagos
Nigeria
January 8, 2010

It’s a brand new year of opportunities and possibilities; and we’ll specially like to thank you for your love and support for 9ice and his label this past year.

That 9ice has grown from an upcoming singer-performer, to become one of Africa’s most promising exports, is not just as a result of his talent, hard work and can-do spirit; but because the media in Nigeria (print, broadcast and online) have been extremely kind to him and his music.

Unfortunately, we may have some sad news for you.

9ice and his beautiful wife Toni Payne; with whom he tied the knots last year; are separating.

The couple have agreed to separate for a while, even though they continue to remain good friends and business partners.

Their baby Zion will reside with Toni for now.

This is a very very tough decision for the couple, and it’s a tough, even trying time for the young partnership we all admire so much. And they’re even the more constrained to make this announcement; knowing it will shatter many of their fans, and admirers inside and outside the country.

But they have both agreed to be responsible about the development, and make public what is necessary, to avoid unnecessary speculations, and rumours.

And it is their wish that we all respect their privacy at this period.

Neither 9ice nor Toni will be granting any press interviews on this matter

9ice Plans Second Album Soon

9ice has  confirmed that he is preparing a new album for a March release and not just that, there will also be four other albums to follow before the year runs out. Is it a grandeur plan?

Contrary to the impression that his album is doing poorly, 9ice said in a telephone chat that his album sold over 750, 000 in its first week of release and in this week alone, another 1.5 million units have been pushed meaning that approximately 2.5million copies of ‘Tradition’ have been sold in CDs. And the next line of projects is the ‘Versus’.

He said, “a lot of people have been saying ‘why don’t you sing with this act? Why don’t you work with that act and all that. ‘Versus’ is a concept we’ve (Alapomeji Records) had for a long time and its just time for us to carry it out now. It’s a five album project and its going to be released one after the other but all this year”
The singer explained that the coming albums are so titled to accommodate their features. The first body of work is nearing completion having recorded songs with Mode 9, Da Grin and soon there’ll be a 9ice versus P-Square. The first ‘Versus’ will contain 12-tracks.
Curious about why the artiste is willing to commit hard-to-find revenue to recording five new albums which might or might not have full returns, the singer repeated that it’s (Versus) been a long time dream and the fact that he owns a personal recording studio will help cut cost.
Explaining the economics of the music business, 9ice confessed that the highest royalty paid to an artiste on every unit of  CD sold is, N10. “The street hawkers get it from the marketer for N45 and sell it for N120, N150 and the cost of production of a CD is N35″, he educated.
Commenting on the terms of trading between marketers, distributors and artistes, he said, “ no marketer can give N50m on any album, even to those who sell out their album rights outrightly to marketers. Forget about anything you have heard before now or been told in that direction because it never happens.
As for me, I’d rather be paid royalties”.
9ice’s ‘Tradition’ is being distributed by Soforte distributors, an independent distribution company managed by Gbenga Goerge (gospel singer Lara George’s husband cum manager) and operating outside the famous Alaba market.
On what his experience, doing business with Soforte is like, the ethnic singer said, “there are lots of difference.
For once you can know exactly how much you’ve sold. My marketer (in Soforte) can call me up and show full statistics of distribution for my CD.

With Alaba, you don’t get that. The marketer will be afraid that if they show you the record of sales, you might do your own calculation and then find out that he (the marketer) has robbed you and then you (the artiste) will start making demands”.
Overall, the talented father of one expressed optimism for the new year. And even though ‘Tradition’ isn’t heavy on radio, music pundits believe that a good album grows on people with time. Hence, ‘Tradition’ just might settle in as soon as people get to assess and enjoy the album as a fresh body of work and not viewed comparatively with ‘Gongo Aso’.

Kelvin: Winner of MNet’s Big Brother Revolution

RECENTLY, Kevin Chuwang Pam, who hails from Jos, the Plateau State capital, walked triumphantly out of the Big Brother House to the deafening shouts that heralded his re-entry into the world he left behind 91 days earlier. He had just been named winner of MNet’s Big Brother Revolution.

The 27-year-old entertainer and graduate of English Language from the University of Jos, was chosen by the continent after outlasting 24 other housemates and winning 45 per cent of the total votes cast across the whole of Africa to claim the $200,000 prize.

Voted ‘Most Sociable’ in the university, Kevin’s role model is his father because “he is principled.”

The Jos boy was the most popular housemate in the most countries, claiming 11 country votes from Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the Rest of Africa) against two for Emma (Angola and South Africa), and one apiece for Edward (Namibia) and Mzamo (Malawi), while Nkenna couldn’t claim a victory in any of the participating countries.

The show had kicked off with IK abseiling into the garden before hip-hop group, Fresh performed in front of a packed studio audience. The 20 evicted housemates then joined him on stage in a stunning parade of colour as they waved their national flags. After a review of the first 30 days in the house, the evicted housemates performed a special dance paying homage to Michael Jackson – as they did so successfully during their “Thriller” task.

Clips From The 2009 Ovation Red Carol.

The 2009 Ovation Red Carol lived up to its promise to be a carnival of red red red and... more red. It was an opportunity to make style statement... even in the loud, boisterous romantic red -- in all its shades.
The red spirit of the season not only dominated, but marked out the significance of the night’s attire, as celebrities, fashionistas, journalists and shakers of the society gathered in different shades of the colour to impress.

Dressed in stunning outfits such as spaghetti, empire, sleeveless and halter neck among others made with fabrics such as satin, ankara, cotton, taffeta and mercury, they walked the runway leaving lasting sensual impression.
Colours were extensively used, but the most visible and lively of all was red, which created a strong aura of love and excitement.
The fashionistas with their naturally image of excitement, energy, enthusiasm and confidence were pleasant to behold.
Davina, a new rec ording artiste, however, stood out, strutting the carpet in a very thrilling red, blue and yellow ankara combination.

The event, which held at the Expo Hall, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, lived up to its billing. It was not just a night filled with musical entertainment and comedy, it was also an avenue to give hope to the less-priviledged in the society: people living in poverty; the people Wish for Africa are serving through its low-cost medical centres in Mafoluku, Ketu and Alagbado!

A donation of N1 million was given to Wish for Africa at this glamorous event to support the various projects of the Charity!
The event was co-sponsored by UBA and the Lagos State government

Sheriff under attack for doing his job.

This man is saint. A hero to all of us who believe in what is good and right about America. He is a defender of our national sovereignty. I am talking about the self-professed “toughest sheriff in America” Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County Arizona.

Arpaio now finds himself the focus of a grand jury investigation for alleged abuses of power. What was it that he did wrong? Nothing. He continues to crack down on illegal immigration and crime in general. It’s cracking down on illegal immigration in a politically correct society where those of who were born here and belong here are somehow the bad guys and those who thwart and break our laws to come here and stay here are the good guys that got him in trouble with these clearly clueless and most likely corrupt officials.
It is also the fact that Arpaio and County Attorney Andrew Thomas have launched a criminal investigation into the activities of two county supervisors and one county judge, who have been criminally charged in the investigation. In addition to that, last month, Arpaio and Thomas filed a federal racketeering lawsuit against a group of county administrators, judges and attorneys, accusing them of participating in a conspiracy to hinder an investigation into a $341 million court building under construction in Phoenix and the investigation of Supervisor Don Stapley.

This all looks, sounds, and even smells like payback to me. These obviously corrupt officials are retaliating against a man who actually believes in the concepts of right and wrong and enforcing the law. Corrupt officials who know they are dirty and refuse to be cleaned up so they are attacking someone who is clean.

God bless Sheriff Arpaio for his efforts to crack down on illegal immigration and taking on lawlessness and corruption wherever he finds it. America needs more men like Sheriff Arpaio, both in law enforcement and in government in general.  Just imagine how much different, how much better America would be if we did.
